Why Support The Patriot Post?
Fellow Patriots,
Predictably, during our support campaigns, I receive this question: "You told me it was free, so why are you requesting support?"
I ask for your support first, because there is no more effective and cost efficient method to promote the Essential Liberty message to millions of Americans across our great nation, and to keep the flame of Liberty burning bright!
Second, I ask for support in order that we can continue to provide The Patriot, free of charge, to our Armed Forces readers, students, those in the mission field and Patriots of any age with limited resources.
Thank you for your steadfast support of Liberty on many fronts.
You understand that Freedom is not free. Neither is publishing. Your Patriot team of editors and staff depend entirely on the voluntary financial support of Patriots like YOU for our operations budget. We are not sustained by any political, special interest or parent organization, and we do not accept advertising.
Thomas Paine wrote, "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must undergo the fatigues of supporting it."
If you are able, please do support The Patriot Post today. (If you prefer to support us by mail, please use our printable donor form.)
Thank you!
Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis!
Libertas aut Mortis!

Budget
From our humble beginnings in 1996, The Patriot Post is now recognized by millions as the "voice of constitutional conservatism." We reach these people at a cost of less than 25 cents per reader per year. Thousands of our readers repost our content on blogs, social networking sites and personal Web sites. High school teachers, and college and university professors use our content to teach their students, and many political and cultural organizations reprint our content in their publications.

Publishing, like freedom, is not free. We employ editorial and technical teams, 25 part-time feature and content contributors who are experts in their fields, and an indispensable research and analysis team. In addition, our Internet publishing efforts require a sizable investment beyond the human one; this includes robust and powerful hardware, custom software, technology services, office space, installations, maintenance and more. We also incur substantial legal, accounting and insurance costs.
Yet, our mission and operations budget is a small fraction of the expenses of other influential conservative organizations, primarily because our dedicated staff members are motivated by mission and not deterred by modest wages.
The Patriot Post's Annual Fund is donor supported so we can offer our publication without charge to countless thousands of American military personnel, students and those in ministry or other professions with limited financial means. We are not sustained by any political, special interest or parent organization, and we do not accept advertising. Please, support The Patriot Post's Annual Fund today, in accordance with your ability. (If you prefer to support us by mail, please use our printable donor form.)

Our Mission
"The Patriot's mission is to advocate for Essential Liberty, the restoration of constitutional limits on government and the judiciary, and to promote free enterprise, national defense and traditional American values. Our objective is to provide Patriots across our nation with a touchstone of First Principles through brief, informative and entertaining analyses of relevant news, policy and opinion from reputable research, advocacy and media organizations, so they may better support and defend those Principles, and enlist others to join our ranks." —Mark Alexander, Publisher
