A simple plan to recovery: BECOME ENERGY INDEPENDENT! Turn loose the domestic energy industry to make the US self supporting. Government should get out of the way and allow these companies to do what needs to be done to make the US the leader in energy production. The secondary and support jobs created would lower the unemployment levels and fill the treasury. Second, cut off all foreign aid, the UN, and the IMF from any funds. Let them borrow the money from someone else.
