“The republican is the only form of government which is not eternally at open or secret war with the rights of mankind.” –Thomas Jefferson (1790)

There’s been a flood of BS from Barack Hussein Obama in the last week, and high ground is in short supply. H. L. Mencken had it right: “Democracy is a form of religion. It is the worship of jackals by jack asses.”

Rather than try to capture all the piles of BO’s socialist dezinformatsia in narrative form, allow me to depart from that format and just list the larger loads.

At the Demo Confab last week, the “We Make It Possible” theme asserting “Government is the only thing we all belong to” picked up where Obama’s assertion “you didn’t build that … somebody else made that happen” left off.

We all “belong” to government? This should strike all freedom-loving Americans as being exactly backward.

For those of us who were counting, in his coronation speech, Obama, the consummate narcissist, said “I” (not in reference but in credit to himself) 55 times and “we” (that’s the socialist collective “we” not as in “We, the people…”) 75 times. Moreover, in the 40-page Demo platform, Obama is cited on 38 pages more than 200 times. By way of comparison, the 2012 GOP platform makes reference to Mitt Romney once.

According to BO, “You didn’t elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear. You elected me to tell you the truth. And the truth is, it will take more than a few years for us to solve challenges that have built up over decades.”

The truth is, it will take Obama another term to complete his plan for fundamentally transforming the United States of America.“

Apparently this pledge from February 2009 missed the mark: "One nice thing about the situation I find myself in is that I will be held accountable. You know, I’ve got four years. And, you know, a year from now, I think people are gonna see that we’re starting to make some progress. But there’s still gonna be some pain out there. If I don’t have this done in three years, then there’s gonna be a one-term proposition.”

So did this one a year later: “I’d rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president.”

According to Team Obama, not only did you not build it, you didn’t create it either. “Over the past, you know, 27 months we’ve created 4.5 million private-sector jobs,” said Obama campaign spokesperson Stephanie Cutter.

While the 4.5 million jobs claim is patently false, most analysts have missed the real substance of the administration’s message. “We created” is the flip side of “you didn’t build that.”

Who created those jobs?

Obama’s plan to “solve the challenges” is shaped by his lifelong socialist indoctrination, and he has based his re-election campaign on two foundational pillars: redistributive justice and class warfare. His plan is not about building it; it’s about redistributing it.

Of those pillars, the great prevaricator Bill Clinton observed: “Now [Obama] has laid the foundation for a new, modern, successful economy of shared prosperity. And if you will renew the president’s contract, you will feel it. You will feel it. … The old economy is not coming back. … Are we better off than we were when [Obama] took office, with an economy in free fall…? The answer is yes.”

The answer is, of course, unequivocally, “NO!” The audacity of that whopper reminds me of Adolf Hitler’s dictum in his 1925 autobiography “Mein Kampf,” in which he noted that the key to successful deception is to lie so big that the public would be confident that no national leader “could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.”

Are we better off than we were when BO took office?

Certainly not if you’re among the 23 million Americans now out of work after 43 straight months of 8-percent-plus unemployment – unprecedented since the Great Depression… Of course, the real unemployment figure is much higher – closer to 19 percent.

Arnold Ahlert aptly summed this one up: “No doubt many of the media outlets determined to get this president re-elected will tout the fact that the unemployment rate dropped from 8.3 percent to 8.1 percent, even as they bury the reason why: 368,000 Americans simply gave up looking for work. That exodus dropped the labor force participation rate to 63.5 percent, a 31-year low. For perspective’s sake, if the number of people in the labor force had remained the same as last month, the unemployment rate would be 8.4 percent. If the labor force were as large as it was when Obama took office in 2009, the unemployment rate would be a staggering 11.2 percent. … And when one gets past the ‘official’ unemployment rate and examines the BLS’s U-6 number – representing Americans who have been out of work for six months, along with those who are involuntarily part-time workers, due to cutbacks in their days or hours – the under-employment rate has held steady for months at around 15 percent of the workforce. Add those who have given up looking for work and that number jumps to 19 percent.”

Indeed, Obama so loved the poor that he created millions more. And make no mistake, his road “Forward” is a dead end!

Are we better off than we were when BO took office?

Certainly not if you think the historic $16 trillion national debt (more than $50,000 for every American) is a problem. And need I remind you, while on-budget debt is $16 trillion, the off-budget unfunded liabilities deficit is $222 trillion – and that’s the real “Debt Bomb” that will complete Obama’s transformation of America.

Are we better off than we were when BO took office?

Not if we consider the fact that median household income has dropped to its lowest level since 1995. The median income adjusted for inflation in 2011 dropped to $50,054 – 4.1 percent below household income in 2009 when Obama took office.

BO claimed, “By 2008 we had seen nearly a decade in which families struggled with costs that kept rising but paychecks that didn’t.” The truth is that “stagflation” (e.g. higher inflation, higher unemployment, and lower economic growth) has only gotten worse since Obama’s election. During the Bush administration, average median income rose and inflation was low.

There’s been much comparison between the GOP and DNC conventions, but I think one of the most revealing distinctions between them is not what was said, but what was worn. Both Romney and Obama wear TAG Heuer watches, but Romney’s Link Automatic is valued at $3,500 while Obama wears an Aquaracer valued at $15,600.

There’s also been much talk this week about Obama’s post-DNC bounce in the polls, which in recent days has disappeared. Regardless, the real Obama bounce is best measured in the surge in gun sales this year, which reminds me of former Republican Rep. Larry McDonald’s observation, “We have four boxes with which to defend our freedom: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.”

The truth is, we built it, Obama broke it, and now we need to expel him so we can repair it and move on!

On the more somber and solemn side of the news this week, The New York Times dutifully did its part as Obama’s “Blame Bush” surrogate by blaming 9/11 on, you guessed it, George W. Bush.

Noticeably absent from the NYT’s “20/20 hindsight analysis” of 9/11 was any mention of the name “Clinton.”

Truth is, the terrorists who led the 9/11 attack settled into American suburbs under Clinton’s watch, while the Clintonistas were too busy rejecting FBI reports because of “ethnic sensitivity.” One such report was from an agent who wanted to open a case file on a group of Islamists who requested flight training – more specifically learning to take off in a large jet … but not land. Her request was denied.

Also absent from The Times’ analysis was the fact that U.S. forces had bin Laden, literally, dead in their sights twice in 1998 and 1999, but CLINTON REFUSED to green-light the specops shooters. According to former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer, who was Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station (a.k.a. “Alec Station”) from 1996 to 1999, Clinton had more than EIGHT opportunities to kill bin Laden long before 9/11, but declined.

Meanwhile, as Americans observed in solemn remembrance the murder of 3,000 civilians by bin Laden’s al-Qa'ida Islamists, practitioners of “the religion of peace” attacked U.S. missions in Egypt and Libya. In the former, they tore down and burned the American flag, replacing it with an Islamist flag; in the latter, they murdered U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other mission personnel, including two Marines. (More to come, I guarantee it – now that Obama has declined to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, empowering Islamist radicals in the region and around the world.)

Last week, Obama, the consummate national security neophyte said of Romney and Ryan: “My opponent and his running mate are new to foreign policy. But from all that we’ve seen and heard, they want to take us back to an era of blustering and blundering that cost America so dearly.” Does he mean back to the Carter era…which is just where Obama finds himself today?

In response to a report that the violence was associated with a web-based video critical of Islam, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton chimed in, “This video is disgusting and reprehensible.” (Much better to blame a video on YouTube than failed foreign policy!)

Obama condemned the attack and then APOLOGIZED to the attackers. Of the web video, Obama said, “the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others,” and the administration “condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions.”

Really? Last week, Demo confab delegates loudly rejected the most central tenet of Liberty – that it is “endowed by our Creator,” not the gift of benevolent political masters.

Apparently the 40-page Demo platform omitted any mention of “God,” despite the aforementioned citation of Obama more than 200 times. After a proposed amendment to the platform including a white-bread reference to God, the chairman couldn’t muster a “two-thirds” delegate vote to approve, even after three attempts.

Realizing a failure to amend the platform would create serious problems for Obama’s re-election prospects, the chairman unilaterally passed the measure anyway.

Obama has led the charge to eradicate “God” from every corner of public life in the U.S. because his Socialist ideology cannot tolerate competition with its goal of authoritarian state power. While Obama quickly apologized for an amateur web video which Muslims find offensive, he has yet to apologize for the “God” omission, especially to the families of American Patriots who have fought and died to support and defend our Constitution – itself constituted on the basis of the endowment of Liberty by our Creator.

Mitt Romney took Obama to task for his soft apology to Islamists, prompting Obama to respond, “It’s important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts and that you’ve thought through the ramifications before you make them.” A few hours later Obama said in a media interview on events in Egypt, “I don’t think that we would consider them an ally, but we don’t consider them an enemy.” Uh, colossal FAIL!

The truth is, as Clint Eastwood commented after the GOP convention, “Obama is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.” For ample evidence, check out Obama in his own words. And don’t forget this treasonous exchange caught by an open mike.

Ronald Reagan warned us about the consequences of inept leadership. Did we learn anything?

If the American people do not resoundingly defeat Obama on November 6, it will most certainly affirm this observation from 19th-century German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel: “The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history.”
