2012 Presidential Endorsements from Senior Military Officers

Nov. 5, 2012

Fellow Patriots – just in case you know someone who is still considering Obama:

In the United States, at least through the next election, we have the freedom to vote for the candidates of our choice. When considering presidential candidates, I give great consideration to the opinions of those who have sworn allegiance to “support and defend” our Constitution. No, I don’t mean the beltway politicos who violate their oaths daily, but those in the ranks of our Armed Services, who have sworn to defend our Constitution with their lives, those who keep the Flame of Liberty burning bright.

You already know that a majority of active duty officers and enlisted personnel support conservative candidates, but as the father of an active duty Airman, I thought it might be instructive to list the senior retired military personnel who have endorsed the presidential candidates. (These are the official lists from each campaign.)

Senior officers endorsing Barack Hussein Obama:

Gen. Wesley Clark, USA, Gen. Colin Powell, USA, Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton, USA, Adm. Donald Gutter, USN, Adm. John Nathman, USN.

I pray that for my son and millions of young people serving our nation in uniform the Office of President and Commander in Chief will soon be occupied by a man who will restore the honor and integrity due that office – Mitt Romney.

I may not be senior, but I damn well am one who has take the oath, and if you included Col, LtCol, and Majors to your list, it might take a few weeks to parse through it. To all of my fellow patriots, who are retired, active, guard, resever, who recognize what the oath means and are not in the short list of despicable vermin who would endorse treason, God bless, and exercise proudly your voice and your vote to support and defend, and get those who would destroy America far, far from office. Thanks P.P., the difference is mind blowing.

Saw the name of the C.O. of my first navy ship, the USS Kalmazoo, retired Admiral Leighton Smith Jr. on the list of Pro-Romney, no surprise as Smith had also supported McCain in 2008 as did I.

Brian in Newport News replied:

Not sure what LCR means Steve. Being a retired Navy chief it looks like you tried to pass yourself off as an Naval Officer (LCDR). And while I only once in a while questioned the intelligence of an officer, at the very least they are all literate. Your rant reflects that you are not only unintelligent, but illiterate to boot, thus, you could not possibly have attained the rank of even ENS, much less LCDR.

There is no "official Officers Page", at least none that I am aware. If I am wrong, please provide the URL for us.

Mark Alexander is the epitome of integrity and would never stoop to simply copying a list of officer names and claim they support something or someone. I trust that these names made their way to this list because he has learned, one way or another, that they do, indeed, support Mitt Romney.

Again, if you can provide us with the web address from which this list came from, we are all ears. Otherwise, take your baseless accusations elsewhere.

This list of Gov Romney supporting retired officers was published in a full page ad in the Wasington Times on Monday. These men and women who endorsed Gov Romney put their money where their mouth is and told who in their opinion was best suited to be Commander in Chief. A simple google search told me where the ad was placed. Research it yourself if you won't believe the Patriot Post.

As a former resident in Decatur, I thought that I could improve my lot in life by moving west to Tacoma. Unfortunately, I jumped out of thee frying pan into the fire. This state is probaly the most liberal outside of California. Not only did we just re-elect Obama, but R-74 (Redefine Marriage Act) also passed along with I 502 (Legalize Marijuana). All the work that my wife and I have put into the last campaign is about as meaningful as last nights' bowel movement and I'll spend the next four years (if I live that long) smelling it!

Namvet. I must be the only person on the planet who remembers what powell said 4 years ago. On a Sunday Morning talk show he was listing the reasons why he was supporting obama. At the end of his "reasons" he said " besides, this an historic opportunity".

Do you know what the hosts next question was? Of course not, neither do I. But it wasn't "What opportunity" or "What do you mean by that". He just moved on. Wouldn't you like to know what the "opportunity" was? What was different about 2008 than any other Pres. election? Could it be that powell had the opportunity to vote for a black man? I'm just asking.

What do you call somebody who makes decisions about another person based on their skin color?...............any guesses?

Patriot Post has done an admirable job in getting the truth out to the public. Unfortunately, those who have sought to undermine America have won. If we can't elect someone with the character of Mitt Romney, then America is finished. The next Supreme Court nominee will drive the last nail into her coffin. Surely God has withdrawn all the blessings of the last 327 years and now all we can do is sink into the abyss of history with all of the other failed nations.
