White House adviser Dan Pfeiffer made a strong statement Thursday, reiterating that the United States doesn’t negotiate with terrorists. But he wasn’t talking about Syria or Iran – he was talking about Republicans and their strategy against ObamaCare.

“We are for cutting spending. We’re for reforming our tax code. We’re for reforming our entitlements,” he explained. “What we’re not for is negotiating with people with a bomb strapped to their chest.”

Again, Democrats bring tolerance and civility to a debate about fiscal sanity.
