Ahead of the 50-90 million insurance cancellations coming next year, the more than five million Americans already cancelled because of ObamaCare are likely going to face a lapse in insurance coverage, even if they do think they have secured an exchange policy. According to The New York Times, though Obama is patting himself on the back, claiming that O'Care made its deadline to get the website on track, there is an enormous short circuit in the information being transmitted from the federal exchange to insurance companies. Turns out that many folks who think they successfully bought a policy through the exchange are likely not in the system, or their information is badly compromised. The Washington Post estimates that more than 30 percent of applicant insurance claims have significant errors, including “failure to notify insurers about new customers, duplicate enrollments or cancellation notices for the same person, incorrect information about family members, and mistakes involving federal subsidies.”
