Just yesterday, we warned that officials at Guantanamo were likely to cave on demands that two Nativity scenes be removed from dining halls. We were right. Both will be moved to the courtyard of the base chapel. Mikey Weinstein, leader of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, says that the complainants wish to remain anonymous: “They are terrified. Right now, there is a witch hunt going on to find out who did this,” he said. The only “witch hunt” is by his group, seeking out each and every reference to Christianity in the military for eradication.
