“The Iranian Army’s naval fleets have already started their voyage towards the Atlantic Ocean via the waters near South Africa,” Commander of Iran’s Northern Navy Fleet Admiral Afshin Rezayee Haddad announced on Saturday. “Iran’s military fleet is approaching the United States’ maritime borders, and this move has a message.” The message is all too clear: Iran scoffs at American leadership under Barack Obama. Indeed, our so-called commander in chief has spent the last five years symbolically bowing to Iran, insisting that he’s “giving peace a chance.” How’s that working out?
