Lefty propagandist Bill Maher asked EPA head Gina McCarthy about accusations the agency is waging a war on coal. We’ll give McCarthy credit for one thing: She didn’t dance around the issue; instead, she fully admitted the Obama administration is indeed focused on annihilating the coal industry. “I hope it is a war on coal,” Maher said. “Is it?” McCarthy responded, “Actually, [the] EPA is all about fighting against pollution and fighting for public health. That’s exactly what this is.” Dimwits met her remarks with applause. Unfortunately, the Left’s obsession with crippling the coal industry will be reflected in Americans’ energy bills. And it’s more than just coal. It’s a war on the whole economy.
