It was a busy weekend for the liberal blogosphere when it found a story about Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) supposedly saying something along the lines of putting all the children crossing the border into “‘Americanization’ facilities,” which essentially would be concentration camps, according to Daily Kos. While most of the Left was getting itself hot and bothered over the click bait, Leftist-blog Raw Story pointed out the whole Bachmann story was a parody. Fake. Not true. ThinkProgress had the scruples to issue a correction of its story, striking through everything incorrect in the text, which was the whole piece. Moral of the story: Not everything you read on the Internet is true, no matter how badly you want it to be.
