BuzzFeed took five Democrats who had never before laid hands on a firearm “to find out what happens when liberals shoot guns for the first time.” Here’s what each of them had to say before the excursion at the Los Angeles Gun Club. Hillary: “I don’t think there’s any reason to have guns in America.” Daysha: “I just think we should have stricter rules on guns.” Gaby: “There should definitely be harsher gun control. Definitely.” Allison: “Maybe the right to bear arms was something that was necessary at the time… It’s just an antiquated thing.” Abe: “There’s a national embarrassment in how many people are killed by gun violence.” By the end, several remained firmly anti-gun, but Daysha admitted, “It was kind of enjoyable, but then I was getting sickened at me feeling enjoyable about it.” Allison said she “would probably come back and do it again” despite feeling conflicted.
