Egypt is taking a cue straight from the Obama administration playbook by engaging in sternly worded diplomacy. According to Reuters, “Egypt on Tuesday urged U.S. authorities to exercise restraint in dealing with racially charged demonstrations in Ferguson, Missouri – echoing language Washington used to caution Egypt as it cracked down on Islamist protesters last year.” We’re still awaiting confirmation, but rumor has it Barack Obama is upping his game and has Al Sharpton deploying to Cairo on the next available flight.
