The overwhelming consensus among physicians is that global warming is a cancer to your health. At least that’s the latest claim being popularized by the White House based on a survey by the American Thoracic Society. Writing at The White House Blog, Obama Senior Advisor Brian Deese said, “77 percent of respondents reported that increases in air pollution due to climate change are worsening the severity of illnesses in their patients, and they expect these health impacts will further increase in the future.” Naturally, Deese suggested Republicans lack sympathy, explaining, “[W]e can’t stand on the sidelines and be the first generation to fail at that most basic human instinct – to leave our children a safer, more prosperous world. That is why we are so committed to executing the President’s Climate Action Plan.” In other words, we’ve got a problem, and the only prescription is government intervention. If ObamaCare taught us anything, it’s how far to keep government away from health care. The Left also falsely claims 97% of scientists believe global warming poses a serious threat. Well, not exactly. With enough manipulation, you can conjure up whatever answers you seek. And, while on the subject of health, this administration has no room to talk – Obama’s EPA deliberately subjected humans to harmful experiments.
