The Patriot Post® · No, You Can't Buy a Gun 'Over the Internet With No Background Check'

Barack Obama’s outlandish lies never cease to amaze. Here’s the most dubious claim he made during today’s speech announcing additional gun control:

“A violent felon can buy the exact same weapon over the internet with no background check, no questions asked.” —@POTUS #StopGunViolence

Add that to Obama’s monumental list of BIG lies. Federal law requires that firearms purchased over the Internet be shipped to a Federal Firearms License dealer, where the prospective buyer must then submit to a background check before completion of the transaction. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

And yet just a few moments later he had the audacity to accuse the gun lobby of, well, lying:

In November, Obama accused Republicans of “playing on fear to score political points or to advance their campaigns,” which he called “irresponsible.” Good thing he’d never do that.
