“Don’t ever underestimate White supremacy’s ability to adapt.”

That was the takeaway line from CNN “analyst” John Blake, who recently wrote an essay of warning to all non-supremacists. His theory? White America may be losing ground demographically, but the white supremacists within their ranks will likely go to great lengths to preserve their supremacy — even if it means inviting people with light-brown skin into their ranks. The title of his piece? “White supremacy, with a tan.”

Blake says it’s a diehard “political myth” that when whites are no longer a majority in the U.S., racism will fade. Don’t you believe it. He writes:

This myth was reinforced recently when the US Census’ 2020 report revealed that people who identify as White alone declined for the first time since the Census began in 1790. The majority of Americans under 18 are now people of color, and people who identity as multiracial increased by 276% over the last decade.

These Census figures seemed to validate a common assumption: The US is barreling toward becoming a rainbow nation around 2045, when White people are projected to become a minority.

That year has been depicted as “a countdown to the White apocalypse,” and “dreadful” news for White supremacists. Two commentators even predicted the US “White majority will soon disappear forever.” It’s now taken as a given that the “Browning of America” will lead to the erosion of White supremacy.

Nonsense, says Blake: “The assumption that more racial diversity equals more racial equality is a dangerous myth. Racial diversity can function as a cloaking device, concealing the most powerful forms of White supremacy while giving the appearance of racial progress. Racism will likely be just as entrenched in a browner America as it is now. It will still be White supremacy, with a tan.”

Where does CNN find these folks, these non-journalistic social-justice types who see white supremacy under every rock and behind every tree, and thereby dutifully promote Joe Biden’s divisive race-based agenda?

“[Blake] claims white supremacy will ‘adapt’ by brainwashing black/brown people,” says commentator Joel Pollak. “What trash. The left is just ‘adapting’ their propaganda so they can still call people racist when the failures are impossible to ignore.”

Self-styled philosopher Barrington Martin II, himself a black man, had a similar take: “So tired of people with a racial identity crisis writing these rubbish articles while liberal news networks promote them front and center as if they’re insightful piece.”

Doesn’t Blake know that if enough brown and black people join the burgeoning white supremacy movement, its popularity will be its ultimate undoing? After all, as Syndrome said in “The Incredibles,” “When everyone’s super, no one will be.”

And is it any wonder that with racial arsonists like Blake running around, relations between blacks and whites hit a two-decade low in July, with 42% of respondents to a Gallup survey saying they’re “very” or “somewhat” good, while 57% say they are “somewhat” or “very” bad?

Blake, for his part, seems proud of his own multiracial family and heritage, and why not? His is a rich bouillabaisse of the American Experience. But he misreads the racial and cultural landscape when he says that in order to stamp out white supremacy, we must “discard the modern notion of race, the biological fiction that there is something called a ‘Black person’ or a ‘White person’ or an ‘Asian person.’”

Call us deeply skeptical. Blake and his fellow travelers on the Left won’t ever let go of race as a tool, as a cudgel, as a weapon. They’ve long since abandoned the teachings of Martin Luther King Jr., and they’re convinced that we should be judged by the color of our skin rather than the content of our character.
