There are many who deny this but the facts are clear, and exactly as you have laid them out.

"Although it is true that four or five weeks into the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin proposed 'prayers imploring the assistance of heaven, and its blessing upon our deliberations, be held in this assembly,' (Benjamin Franklin, http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/benfranklin.htm.) his proposal did not even merit a vote. (Robert Yates, “Secret Debates of the Federal Convention of 1787,” Secret Proceedings and Debates of the Constitutional Convention 1787, Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1838 (Hawthorne, CA: Omni Publications, 1986) pp. 197-98.) Franklin wrote, “The Convention, except three or four persons, thought prayers unnecessary.” (Benjamin Franklin, quoted in William Templeton Franklin, "Memoirs of the Life and Writings of Benjamin Franklin" (London, UK: Henry Colburn, 1818, 3rd ed.) p. 195. ) This alone is an abomination to Yahweh:
'…I will cut off … them that are turned back from YHWH; and those that have not sought YHWH, nor inquired for him.' (Zephaniah 1:4-6)...."

Find out how much you really know about the Constitution as compared to Yahweh's moral law (His commandments, statutes, and judgments). Take our Constitution Survey at http://www.missiontoisrael.org/constitutionsurvey/constitutionsurvey.php and receive a free copy of the "Primer" (an 85 page book, normally $7 plus shipping) of "Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective."

@Ted: Please stick to the subject at hand, and even where you do you show your ignorance of the significance of Benjamin Franklin's plea. Franklin was probably the least religious of the Founding Fathers, maybe not a Christian at all, but at least a believe in God and obviously a believer in the value of prayer. That he, of all people, made a call to daily prayer, is proof enough that the Founders were well-grounded in their beliefs in God. Now, don't even get me started on that old canard about how "most of the Founders were Deists." What nonsense!

Even with some of the framer's claim to Christianity, it would seem Franklin (who admitted he was not a Christian) had a better sense of Christianity than they.
The real test of the framers is the Constitution itself. There's hardly an article or amendment that, in some fashion, is not antithetical, if not hostile, to Yahweh's morality as codified in His commandments, statutes, and judgments.

First of all, I wish to ask this question/s to Mr. West: If all the Founding Fathers were to rise and see their America in action at home and around the globe with its horrendous Imperialistic Militaristism, circling the globe and at the same time another nation of illegals has settled in and their language treated and respected equal to English, because our borders have been treated like they had never been established and the laws of immigration the same treatment? Besides, with America now being a mass grave where over 50 million of unborn babies have been dumped like trash; and the butcher shops still thriving and making money! Yes, and also hearing the arguments going on whether Politicians should pray before starting meetings, with the above mentioned background. I am quoting the Founding Fathers in as much as the article writer does so! Yes, pray to God Almighty with the devil dancing because the nation behaves to his great pleasure? I doubt that God Almighty is ready to bless America; on second thought, He will never bless America unless repentance and confession takes over America; Scripture is very clear about such! Besides, it is very evident that America is on a road the likes of the Titanic and will self-destroy unless, yes unless as stated!
