Another Loose Cannon
Mitt Romney made it arrogantly clear: [paraphrased] "If I am elected President, I will do as I see fit and to hell with the United States Constitution." In an interview with another arrogant publicity seeker, Bob Schieffer on CBS "Face the Nation" Romney said he would attack Iran without the approval of Congress.
Schrieffer is the former Fort Worth Star-Telegram reporter who commandeered an office in a Dallas Police Station in order to have a phone. Doing so, Schieffer misrepresented himself as a detective by failing to reveal that he was a lowly police reporter.
That kind of stupid declaration puts Romney in the same not-ready-for-leadership position as the man now sitting in the Oval Office with his feet on the Rutherford B. Hayes desk. The Republican Party must do better than Romney. Anyone so brazen, who would state openly that the Constitution need not be obeyed, is UNFIT to serve.
Mitt Romney claims to be a conservative, exactly what this country needs; however he has shown himself to be more RINO than even the likes of John McCain, Mitch McConnell or Rick Santorum or Rick Perry. The Republican Party, The United States of America and We the People deserve, for a change, leadership approximating that of Ronald Reagan. We deserve a leader not laden with a ton of baggage and loyalties to the money driving the campaign.
Governor Romney may be the presumptive nominee; that is far from good enough. We are in need of a nominee who is charismatic and with the obvious superior qualities, trustworthiness, honesty, owing no favors and mentally tough enough to take on the dirty tactics the Obama crowd of hooligans will use.
Get your collective heads together, do your homework and unite behind one Honest -to-God, tried-and-true, verifiable, rock-solid and credentialed Conservative for whom patriotic Americans can trust and will come out on November 6 in droves. Even the most minute chance that the Ultra-liberal Democratic Party may win another Four years of terrible non-governance is sickening to contemplate.
There needs to be a clean sweep, Executive, Senate and House. From all that I have witnessed, the RNC is unable or unwilling to take a stand. This smacks of Party Politics as usual. These entities may be able and willing to assist the pitiful Republican Party to get back on track; The Independent Women's Forum, The Concerned Women of America, and the National Black Republican Association. A concerted effort by the ladies is bound to take steam out of the name-calling, race-baiting, misogynistic Democratic base.
After four hundred long and misguided years, the time of the American Woman has arrived; get used to it and make the most of it. Read the fantastic book by Gail Collins, "America's Women" to get a feel for what America has been missing.

Good luck with this. I've heard "It's time for this" or "It's time for that" from innumerable barrelhead-pounding enthusiasts so often, that one more time won't make a whit of difference to my thinking, and possibly anybody else's. Sorry, Paul Ryan isn't running. Or did you mean Ron Paul? Don't kid yourself. Just not going to happen. And if you purists and idealists want the perfect conservative to run and get elected, like, RIGHT NOW, sorry. Not this time. That's a battle for another day. All we've got is Mitt Romney, and the objective of the moment has got to be to put an end to the BHO presidency. I'm far from Mitt's biggest fan. He isn't the perfect conservative, obviously. Neither is he Barack Obama. This, too, should be abundantly clear.

Well said, and I too am not a big Romney fan, but I am an opponent of Marxist Statist Treason now practiced by Democrats, and will vote accordingly.
