Appreciated. I don't think I'm claiming any great knowledge. I'm certainly asking some questions and inviting readers to suspect my bias. Just connecting the dots and putting it out there as food thought. The thesis the ALL homosexuality is the result of direct, physical influence is surely worth questioning. Without forgiveness there is deep anger and from that comes the repetition of the original offense. That's my experience. I think that's the essence of Christ's teaching. The choice is always forgiveness and repentance or sin and eternal misery. Pedophiles and Homosexuals and every manner of people who follow impulses outside the realm of innate conscience are bubbling cauldrons of blame. Though I am neither of the former, I have ample experience with the latter. In this world there is always something onto which one can reach back and hang the justification for blame. To Repent is to take responsibility for doing wrong and to say, "No more". To Forgive is to remove the source of blame and the excuse for doing wrong. Both become possible within an honest faith in Christ. I am certain that Christ is the only cure for sin of any kind.
