Patriots, Snap Out of it!

America Is Too Extraordinarily Precious to Surrender!

By Lloyd Marcus · Jan. 4, 2013

My late Mama instructed, “Never put your business in the street.” Due to the extremely serious situation in which we find our country today, I must share my personal testimony (put my business in the street) to save America.

In 1993, I quit my 15 year position at an ABC affiliate TV station in Baltimore to pursue a new career in music. At that time, callers on the Rush Limbaugh show were losing their jobs to down-sizing. Rush encouraged them to view it as an opportunity to pursue their dreams. Inspired and with Mary's blessing, I quit my position, despite being in line for department head.

In short, Mary and I lost everything – home, cars and savings. On numerous occasions, we were financially down-for-the-count with no hope in sight. Every time, God came to our rescue with just enough to keep us going. During our several years “wilderness experience,” Mary and I grew in character, wisdom and gratitude. But most of all, we learned to trust God.

So while I am in solidarity with the frustration of fellow patriots across America regarding the reelection of Obama, the surrender of the Republicans, the transformation of what it means to be an American and the deterioration of our culture, I MUST continue fighting to restore/take back America!

I can not and will not join in your hopelessness and surrender.

My firm resolve and optimism are rooted in the Word of God. Galatians 6:9 tells us: “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

I can not tune out the news and allow an evil Godless liberal Administration and mainstream media to treat the Constitution like toilet paper and ravish our culture. Edmund Burke said, “The only thing needed for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing.”

Patriots, along with myself, you are good men and women whom God has prepared for such a time as this – to save America. You fought valiantly over the past four years. I totally understand and share your disappointment, anger and sadness for our country.

However, sticking your heads in the sand, is not the answer. For me to do so would feel like me telling God, “I no longer trust You. Thus, I will not continue the mission you called me to fulfill.” For me, such a decision is impossible.

I am Chairman of a new PAC, Conservative Campaign Committee, to fight back with TV ads, etc.

Brother and sister patriots, come back – get back into the battle. America is too extraordinarily precious to do otherwise. We can not simply allow them to “have it”!

I am sad, disappointed, mad at Republicans and people who refuse to research anything and follow like lemmings, but I am not giving up. Just where do we go from here?. We keep hearing the talk from all kinds of organizations, but every one of them wants contributions of cash.and don't offer to say where the cash is going and what is our part? Are we just the suppliers of more cash? I am shocked at the number of requests for cash I get every week--even now that the election is over. Do these conservative organizations believe that because regular people want to do something that we can afford to feed them all we have? It's getting disgusting. I email my representatives in state and federal gov't on my own and sometimes I sign the petitions, but they want tons of money to send faxes which they say we "must" do. AH NO! What's the plan??? That is what I want to know.

As usual my good friend and brother, you always have the insight to see and understand the problem. However, can we awaken the masses-r-asses to realize that they have a responsibility and obligation to maintain THEIR government?

Ted, I can explain in two sentences exactly why the term "Christian Constitutionalist" is NOT an oxymoron:

The word of God as given in the bible, Gen 1:27 - "And God created man to his own image; to the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."

And our own Delectation of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..."

I can appreciate what you have been through because that is where I am right now. Today, my wife and I could put all our earthly belongings into a small trailer, hook it to my pickup, and head down the road.

Like you I have learned (and am learning) to trust God. I am seeing His provision on a day to day basis. My time frame has shrunk so much that I am able to see today fairly clearly, but not much more than that.

Also like you, I will not give up nor surrender because of the difficulty ahead. I intend to go through this battle and emerge victorious.

However, unlike you, I do not blame the Democrats exclusively. The Republicans have been with us at least 150 years and they are easily as much to blame as the Democrats. Personally, I do not want an "evil Godless conservative Administration" and/or Congress any more than I want an evil Godless liberal administration.

It does no good to protest that conservatives and/or Republicans are better than liberals and/or Democrats. Both parties are evil. Both are to blame for the mess we're in. Both of them are complicit and since America is a "representative" society, that means we are complicit as well, because they represent us. WE put them there.

See my blog post, Hezekiah Revisited, for an essay on conservative, Republican hypocrisy.

Roger: Amen to that. It is not about politics and politicians. It is about a nation, a people turning back to Yahweh, their God. This battle will not be won by votes. It will be won by testimonies to the truth of the Love and Mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua. If the hearts and minds of the people are prepared to receive it, it will come. REVIVAL ! "Lord, send a revival, and let it begin in me."

It is a good thing not to give up. However, if not giving up means to try again to bring back respect and obedience to the Constitution, then that is the wrong battle. What we need as a nation is to regain a respect for and obedience to, God's law. We have worshiped the central government and our Constitution above God's government and His constitution (His word and law). The Constitution forbids religious tests for office, a commitment that is the exact opposite of what Scripture teaches. It also sets up courts that are unBiblical in nature, among other attacks on Godly government. We need to return to God not the Constitution. For more Christian commentary on the culture see

Amen, Mr. Marcus ! Never surrender ! Pick up your sword and fight !

If the Lord is with us, who can stand against us? Let us pray; prepare ourselves spiritually; put on the whole armor of God; and go quickly into the breech. We have a responsibility. "To the one which much is given, much is required." It is wrong to be sitting in easy chairs thinking about out mansion in the sweet by-an-by. Our nation, our families, our neighbors need us. Pick up your sword and fight.

No, a new "Tea" (might just as well be cool-aid) type party or PAC or anything short of turning back to The Great I Am that became flesh and dwelt among us and promote His Kingdom/Will On Earth, is going to do any good. In fact it will merely bring His Righteous Judgments upon us quicker and more severe.

"Finding the right PAC, candidate or party" hasn't worked for decades, nor has clinging to the constitution, it's god "We The People" and voting for evil A or evil B, while waiving the banner of the constitution, which has been dead for years, hasn't changed anything. It's only gotten worse.

Don't think so ? Tell me about all the things you're "free" to do without getting permits, licenses, etc. ???? How's that constitutional Obamanation wasn't born here challenge been working out so far ???

Your lost Constitutional Republic died and has become a Communist Republic.
"The Communist Manifesto" and The Ten Planks contained therein. Here's just a few examples, but they're all in full force and effect in the U.S.S.A.:

1st. Plank: Property tax (Abolition of the right to property - land rent)
2nd.: Graduated Income tax.
3rd.: Inheritance tax. (Abolition of the right to inheritance)
5th.: Central Bank in control of credit & currency (Federal Reserve Bank)
10th. Free compulsory education (indoctrination via the public fool system)
And now it's morphed into Corporate Fascism.

The truth is: For the most part, this nation has turned it's back on and, in essence, "flipped the bird" to The Great I Am that became flesh and dwelt among us. And because this nation as a whole hates the truth, here's what's happened to it: ecause they do not have a love of the truth, God has sent them a strong delusion, so that they will believe what is false in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in lawlessness. 2 Thessalonians 2: 10 - 12.

The Almighty told you in His Word that His Laws, Statutes and Judgments are perfect and "Thou shalt not add or subtract therefrom." Yet, you continually "vote" for legislative and presidential offices to do just that, i.e., "add or subtract therefrom." The making of Law is a power that belongs to Him and Him alone!

The only way to save this nation is to turn back to Him, His Perfect Moral Laws, Statutes and Judgments, i.e., His Kingdom/Will On Earth. Seek Him while He may yet be found. Look around, the judgments are happening before your eyes.

Been there, done that. From sometime in the late 1970s to mid 2005 I probable spent as much time living in my "car" as I did in a building. I was seldom out of work, but starting at the bottom of the pay scale, then having to chase the jobs around gave no chance to settle down. My "car" was a 1972 van I was able to carry camping gear in, and make livable. Time and circumstances progressed, and sometimes I was in one place long enough to make renting an apartment worthwhile - until rents got too high. In mid 1995 I gave up my last apartment and move into a 14 year old Lance camper and truck. I lived in that for about two years, then traded it off for a small 1990 motor home, which I lived in until mid 2005, three years after I retired.

In one way I was more fortunate than you in that I had no family to care for.
In one way I was less fortunate that you in that I had no family to care for.
Either way, I learned the very hard lesson that it's not always what I'd choose for my life, but what God choses for me that will be.

As much as I would have liked to see anybody but Obama win in 2008 or 2012, God's will has been done, and I must adjust myself to live with it and continue praying that He will return to America.
