More Gun Control Will Kill This Country

· Wednesday, January 4, 2012

Many nations have fallen to corruption and Marxist takeovers, and most important, they have all had the very same conversations we are having now. They made the same mistake that we are making before your very eyes: that there is somehow two sides to the issue of freedom and on who must have the monopoly on all force.

In America, the people are the Sovereign, and we have the monopoly on all force here. We own and we operate the weapons from guns to the baton on the hip of a state trooper. We own the satellites, the aircraft, all platforms, and all assets right down to the freeways, parks and several college campuses.

How we are taken seriously is evident in how we forbid police choke holds, heavy aluminum flashlights or code three pursuits through neighborhoods as a matter of policy and get our wishes. Change occurs with involvement, and if we want to keep this custody, care and control of our servants and our assets in 2012, we'll need to see the repeal of all gun control as a statement of their confidence in the people, their obeisance of the law, and as a recognition of who is the Sovereign. We will not see smaller government without these no matter who is elected president.

Many officials agree with this, most of whom are not candidates this year. In fact, some in Congress are affirming our rights at this very hour. Gun control is not only illegal, it is an expression of and a temptation of corruption.

For decades, gun owners have sensed a movement to goad American gun owners into some sort of violence. Smears of militias, national coverage of arrests, intentional disinformation and bulletins about gun owners (which information was returned by law enforcement to the source as being professionally inaccurate and counter to the law enforcement mission) all seem to try and whistle up unrest one way or another. Shortages will try and do this as will political decisions on issues and policies. Crackdowns may follow, each doing its small part to vex Americans.

But American gun owners won't cooperate and will not be goaded. Do we really want more of this disrespect in 2012, or can we realistically look forward to smaller government and less corruption in 2012?

The thing about trying to goad 90 million gun owners into an ill-advised action is that it is now more unlikely with every passing day. This is because of four factors:

1. 90 million gun owners are keenly aware that there are more patriots in our government than liberals may believe, and they do not wish to goad Americans into starting something. This is not entirely due to the 'gun lobby', but due also to the integrity of many officials that we are not already overrun with gun bans and tyranny.

2. 90 million gun owners have too great a love of due process, and live by it whether they like it or not. This is a very important feature of character non-gun owners must appreciate as a shared value with gun owners. Perhaps it might be best for non-gun owners and gun owners to team up in 2012?? Hmm.

3. With due process, 90 million gun owners and other patriots have an intact legacy to hand down, which would not be possible if we were goaded into violence. That legacy is not only the law, but lives in the spirit of the liberty values, understanding of our sovereignty, our dedication and knowledge in self-rule, and faith in our system. Without these, independence means little, and it is these which gun control and centralization seek to destroy.

And then, there is this one: 4. Congress is taking a close look at the corruption that is gun control. We wish them good hunting.

Love due process and summon it. Understand that our liberty is so precious that it is worth almost everything including patience and personal involvement.

Gun owners and non-gun owners need to get together in the shared interests of being more independent of their public servants. In an ironic twist, there are many servants who will help you with this if you ask them.

Join my outreach model for this. Would you repeal gun control if it meant smaller government and less corruption?

Gun control leads to more crime. Look at the areas with the most strict gun control, and you will find the cesspools where you wouldn't want to venture after dark. I live in the country where virtually everyone owns some firearm and criminals know it would be suicide to attempt anything, plus they are too damn lazy to get out of town out to the boonies. Liberals know they must ban all weapons to enslave us and invoke their tyranny. They also are too cowardly to actually pick up a weapon, and so are highly outnumbered by 2nd amendment Patriots.

Tnen you are proving, wjm, that it works. When it works so well, many breaucracies are unneeded.

This is why gun owners and non-gun owners need to get together in a common bond: both prefer due process and rule of law: both understand independence, and both know they want smaller government. This will compound numbers by the tens of millions in favor of smaller government better than so-called lobbies can.

Among flat tax and other passions in 2012, the repeal of all gun control will de-incentivize and disempower big government propositions, and we will see a return to citizen involvement instead of indolence.

But unlike flat tax, the armed citizen will show -- as you show -- that crime is fought best at the scene of the crime and not in costly programs.

Liberals are only 20% of the electorate, usually the loudest. We need to call muster on the reaining 80% (many of whom are not gun owners) ans ask: would you repeal gun control if it began a process which reduced the size of government?

Just like alcohol, drugs, tobacco, automatic weakpons, explosives, etc. the gun control crowd has not arrived at the realization that the more things are restricted or banned, the more certain types of individuals want them and find ways to circumvent the law to obtain them. These people cannot come to terms with the concept that if none of these things were banned or heavily regulated, there would be no more, and maybe less, crime and violation of basic law than we have now. Those of us not programmed to perform illegal acts would not do so no matter what the law says.

Very well put, again, my good friend John. It does seem that we are making inroads toward Freedom once again. However, we must remain vigilant, and VERY cautious of our political class. They have, with the meek concession of the masses, installed themselves into self-appointed positions of monarchy, as evidenced most recently by Obama publicly stating that although he signed certain legislation into law, he feels he has no need to abide by such law if he believes it is not suitable to him. The king hath spoke. I aim to prove him wrong.

TO FREEDOM: You cannot conquer a Free man, you can only kill him.

Your statement: "In America, the people are the Sovereign, and we have the monopoly on all force here. We own and we operate the weapons from guns to the baton on the hip of a state trooper. We own the satellites, the aircraft, all platforms, and all assets right down to the freeways, parks and several college campuses." IS A DELUSION AND IN ERROR.

Ownership at its essence means control. If "the people" had all this control that you cite, we'd be in no trouble at all. But we don't.

If you "own" (hold title to) land in a city or county, why do you pay them "rent" (taxes)? Why do you ask their permission (zoning) to do certain things with your "own" property?

No, the trooper owns his baton because he alone is in control of it and he'll beat you on the head with it if he so desires and when you complain to the authorities, who will they believe?

If I actually own that which you say I own, I hereby put my share up for sale! Any takers?

ONLY SOVEREIGN INDIVIDUALS ACTUALLY OWN THEIR LIVES AND PROPERTY. ESCAPE SLAVERY, BE A SOVEREIGN INDIVIDUAL!

Yep,

All our Rights are GOD given. Our Constitution merely restates some of those Rights in an effort to restrain those who wish to encroach into areas where they have no business, using "color of authority" as a weapon to intimidate, confuse, and otherwise confound those Citizens who still cling to their innate Sovereignty under God. Our God given status accounts for the very common feeling among Americans that "somethin' ain't right here". When I was growing up, not all that long ago, everyone knew what it was to be an actual citizen, and to live in a free Republic, where the typical relationship with our government was something like "Gee, I don't think about it much, but now that you mention it, I think I saw my letter carrier (mailman to us seasoned citizens) the other day." This in contrast to our present state, where one practically needs a permit or a license of some sort to break wind, not to mention to actually do anything. In this light, Ron Paul is the only one even close to a real choice. If this makes me crazy, so be it. At least I can meet my Maker with a clear conscience...

Pertaining to "gun control" there are three catagories of people.

1. "GOVERNMENT" : CIA, FBI, BATF, MILITARY, POLICE, SHERIFFS, ARMED GUARDS - to name a few.

These people carry weapons in the course of their duties.

2. "THE PEOPLE" : The vast majority of us who go to work, pay taxes, OBEY LAWS, and live the American Dream.

3. The "CRIMINAL ELEMENT" : those who not only disobey laws but make their own.

Throughout the course of history, TWO of the above catagories have always had guns, have guns today, and will always have guns in the future, no exceptions.

Guess what catagory "GUN CONTROL" pertains to.

It's NOT about controlling guns!

Here are several pertinent quotes on the subject --

"The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty." - Adolf Hitler

"A system of licensing and registration is the perfect device to deny gun ownership to the bourgeoisie." - Vladimir Ilyich Lenin

"Gun registration is not enough." - Attorney General, Janet Reno, December 10, 1993

"What good does it do to ban some guns? All guns should be banned." - Democrat Sen. Howard Metzanbaum.

"I see creeping fascism in America, just as in Germany, a drip at a time: a law here, a law there, all supposedly passed to protect the public. The German people really believed that only hoodlums owned such (unregistered) guns. What fools we were. It truly frightens me to see how the government, media, and some police groups in America are pushing for the same mindset." - Theodore Haas, survivor of Dachau and the Holocaust.

Here are a couple more quotes "fer ya":

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive". CS Lewis

A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government. – George Washington

I would certainly like to see the thesis presented in this article come to pass, but I despair of any such possibility for a very specific reason: This is not simply a case of the gun owner and non-gun owner comparing notes and finding common ground. There is a third faction, who see owning a gun – owning all the guns – as a prerequisite to the faction’s agenda. We allow ourselves to believe we have found “common ground” with this faction at our peril, for this faction regards “truth” as that which advances the agenda, and all else is irrelevant and counterproductive.

I've given this a great deal of thought over the years and I have ocncluded that there are tens of millions of Americans more who love America and who are confused, frustrated, and loyal; they would love to have some legal and proper solution.

This is it.

They may accept being reminded that they have neglected their duties -- that's the easy part; the hard part is getting them to re-adopt those duties.

I think we can do it. Couldn't have done it two years ago. Now, I think we can muster a national will.

I am going to announce an outreach KIT to be available to both organizations and individuals who like talking to people and who are looking for a message and grounding on a common bond. Write me to be notified when this kit is ready. John-at-ContrastMediaPress.com and I'll notify you when it's polished and available on CD-ROM.

It can be done, Donald.

Most of the univerisity preofessors are trying to subvert or eliminate the basic tenents of our Constitution, especially the FIRDT AND SECOND ANEMDMENTS. Nulify thos two, and history shows that chaos and slavory will take over. This is the aim of those who are rewriting the text books: Change history so that the new generation doesent know what wont work and why. So, over my lifetime universities have eliminated over 90 percent of Christian professors. (Cornell had only two outspoken Christrians. untill one retired at age 75.)

At 96, almost 97, I have a lot to say, but it takes me too long to say it. Phil
