Tea Party Patriots"A group named CrashtheTeaParty.org is planning on attending Tea Party rallies around the country tomorrow pretending to be party members. The strategy is to behave outrageously on Tax Day to provide fodder for the media, which likes to portray opponents to the Obama presidency as fringe radicals. The plot is part of the typical liberal playbook to silence opposition to the left-wing agenda. The party crashers already have dropped into Tea Party meetings and rallies to stake out vulnerabilities. According to Jason Levin, head of CrashtheTeaParty.org, the group has affiliates in 65 cities across the land. He unconvincingly claims that his group's bizarre antics will simply reflect the hidden views of Tea Partiers. 'Do I think most of them are homophobes, racists or morons? Absolutely,' Mr. Levin told Associated Press. The saboteurs' Web site leaves no doubt about the methods being employed. 'Whenever possible, we will act on behalf of the Tea Party in ways which exaggerate their least appealing qualities (misspelled signs, wild claims in TV interviews, etc.) to further distance them from mainstream America and damage the public's opinion of them,' the site informs. ... 'They can't actually debate our message, and that's their problem,' explains Bob MacGuffie, an organizer for a Tea Party group with members in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. The Democrats' desperation shows that Mr. MacGuffie is right on target. Polls show the American public is angry about the explosion of government power during the Obama presidency and Democratic control of Congress. Liberals in power don't have thoughtful responses to popular criticism, so they are trying to ostracize skeptical thought and intimidate those brave enough to stand against the bureaucratic juggernaut." --The Washington Times

Allen,
Malkin's article on the saboteurs discusses this Jason Levin and his "Crash the Tea Party" campaign, but also mentions a another (companion?) website run by Craig Varoga -- "TheTeaPartyisOver.org" --which is set up to target Republicans who support the Tea Party movement. Apparently they password protected that site when word got out about their game. Perhaps the same situation with Levin's site?
At any rate, Tea Party members need to be vigilant for these characters, identify them and isolate them in a non-violent manner (if possible) when they show up at the rallies. We cannot tolerate bigotry or rascism within our ranks, or even a manufactured perception of it at the hands of our leftist opponents.
Besides, American Tea Party Patriots understand the real agenda of the Democrat Statists is to retain and increase their power by keeping the minority voting blocks ignorant, impoverished and dependent upon the state. We on the other hand, stand for the individual liberty of ALL Americans and EQUAL protection under the LAW. So who are the REAL rascists?

And speaking of "Tax Season," the national game of "How much did you make last year? Send it in," when is "Tax Freedom Day?" You know, that day when what you earn finally goes for you and not the government?
Another point of consideration: exactly what are the checks and balances on the IRS? Who keeps them in line? Don't say "Congress," either. They're just as afraid of the Infernal Revenue Service as any other citizen. The IRS has its own courts, no appeals, its own "police," and the principle of "guilty until proven innocent." Why is that?

I just wish you guys would get it so that the liberty movement could have a chance.
You treat liberty as if it's a private club that only conservatives get. As long as you treat it that way, you're missing your own point.
It doesn't matter whether liberal or conservative. The Founders were CRAZY liberal. "Liberal" and "Liberty" are built of the same root.
There are many of us out here who DON'T believe government can be trusted with the power required to administer health care.
Where you don't seem to fully understand the problem is that Republicans are trashing the Constitution as well. The Patriot Act SLURS THE NAME of all Patriots everywhere, and YES, the Founders DID intend for religion and politics to be separate because A) God doesn't need the government's help, and B) the two power structures of religion and politics should never be allowed to pool together.
THAT'S what the Constitution is. It's an attempt to RESTRICT power. And if you want to believe in the original intent of the Founders, then you need to take on the liberal half of "liberty" or your movement will go nowhere.
CrashtheParty.org? Bunch of complete idiots. But they don't represent all liberals anymore than the terrorists who have recently acted in the Tea Party name represent all Tea Party members.

It seems as though we are at a crossroads in this great nation of ours. As we look to the left, we see an ultra liberal, constitutional law ignoring, special interest-vote buying socialist agenda. It is truly sad our government supports an agenda that in the not too distant past the citizens of this once great nation shunned. Communists, socialists and Marxists were all used as an example of the worst of governments and ideals. They suppressed their people, totally controlled all aspects of their lives. The people who desired freedom, liberty and the right to choose their own future were quietly and openly silenced. There was no First Amendment to protect their speech. There was no Second Amendment to assure the government would not become a tyrannical organization subverting the people’s constitutional rights. Unfortunately we have found that the rights of the people can and have been subverted by the Judicial branch of our government as we find liberal judges more than willing to legislate from the bench. We see the mainstream media, owned and controlled by socialist supporting wealth, promoting the very poison our ancestors fought a tyrannical monarchy over. We now know even though 66% of Americans did not want the “Health Care Bill”, our representatives rammed it down our throats anyway. Has anyone even looked up the definition of tyranny?
Alternatively, we can take the center road. That means trading ideals and rights to appease many a minority while degrading the Constitutional rights of the majority. The center road is at best lukewarm and at worst the same as taking the left road. The center can be worst than the left because it breeds complacency. We fall asleep with security and do not defend our liberties, our freedom, Our Constitutional Rights! The country I could be so proud of has become a welfare state. We have become a people working for the government. By the people and for the people does not mean take my money and give it to somebody else. President Obama, Lenin would have been so proud of you.
I will take the road to the right. This is a rougher road to travel. You constantly suffer the liberal stone throwing traveling down this road. You are constantly berated as a liar whether there are ANY facts to support it or not. In the liberal mind, just accusing you of it makes it so. I said earlier about the center road being lukewarm. Revelations 3:16, so then because YOU are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. When you have a peaceful demonstration arguing support and return of your Constitutional rights the ultra liberal, socialist agenda news media berates you, makes fun of you and tries to display you as a radical, racist, hate monger. It truly is a shame so many Americans believe everything the liberal bias news media puts forth. I have news for all our international friends that witnessed the apology for America tour put on by our own Osama Bin Bama. We have nothing to apologize for and yes, we are a Christian nation.

What I don’t understand is why a man who is bent on destroying our country from within…and in my mind nothing more than a “political terrorist”, and who won’t prove he was born in America, is allowed to remain in our White House. Why is he not being impeached or removed in handcuffs as a fraud and thrown in jail. Sotero/Obama is making a mockery of our great nation and needs to be removed immediately.

Taking my money in the form of income tax is simple theft and since theft is illegal, then income tax is unjust.
We have had a tyrannical government in the US for a long time.
Will it be this generation to throw off the chains? Shall we march, do sit-ins, write our congressmen? I say we are well past the time for those acts.
Our forefathers wrote a famous letter to their tyrant. It was a Declaration of Intent. I don't think it included threats of marches or sit-ins. It went something like the following and there's no ambiguity in their intent:
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation
This statement is part of a 1 page document that changed the course of history.
Can WE do as well???? Can we articulate our current causes for separation from our leftist brethren and then act upon that separation?? Are we willing shed our blood and treasure for a reborn United States?
When will the next shot heard 'round the world be fired?
Am I crazy for asking these things? Did our forefathers ask themselves if they were crazy for taking the steps they did?

As regards the "CrashTheParty" site, the inconsistency is rampant. While I was trying to follow up on a thread that implied that the whole site was set up with fraudulent information and credentials, I was treated to a whole page of overtly-racist photographs and one image of two men engaging in oral copulation. The Terms of Use agreement - to which all users must agree prior to use - expressly forbids the kind of profane, nasty attacks and horrid images I found there.
What better example need we have of the tactics of our enemies? In their own camp, they revel in immorality, chaos, and wickedness. The fact that they invite people to come and see is gross stupidity; the fact that some actually stay to party in that cesspool, horrifying and disgusting.
Go and look, if you must -- CrashtheTeaParty.org -- or just take my word for it.

Verification needed: Congress not exempt. Heard Rus L. Tuesday saying that the Federal Registry Service (if that's the correct name) had a report that the congressional branch would also have to come under Obamacare, rather than being exempted. Rush went on about it (they didn't read the bill, etc.) - but I've heard nothing about it today.
I'm not trying to start a rumor, but looking for the truth.

If you compare the positions taken by modern "liberals" and compare and contrast them with the positions taken by traditional liberals such as the Founding Fathers you would find that they are diametrically opposite to each other. In todays parlance the word liberal no longer means what it once did. Modern conservative thought is more in keeping with the principles of the Founders.
You are correct in many ways. While not as bad as the Democrats, the GOP has done an abysmal job protecting the Constitution. The Patriot Act is a fine example of this. It is also why I am an Independent rather than a party loyalist. I vote based on ideology not party affiliation.
You are also correct in that the Constitution was intended to limit government. However it is not conservatives who are threatening liberty in America today. It is the progressive, modern "liberals" who are forcing a healthcare takeover and who have nationalized the banks, part of the auto industry and the insurance industry; not conservatives.
As to the separation of church and state the Establishment Clause only prohibits the creation of a national religion. The Free Exercise Clause prohibits the suppression of religion. Neither of these forbids the practice of praying on government property or displaying the Ten Commandments or any display of religion.

Reading through the Chronicle (4/14/10) I ran across the following quote from Mr. Obama: "It will also be someone who, like Justice Stevens, knows that in a demorcacy, powerful interests must not be allowed to drown out the voices of ordinary citizens." I nearly fell off my chair as this is exactly what the Demos are trying to do ... as a 'powerful interest ... drown out the voices of ordinary citizens" (tea party Patriots). I'd say it's the pot calling the kettle black, but would expect a Demo "Racist!" tag thrown at me, as one can't publically use the President's name and the word 'black' together without being accused of racism.

I don't remember conservatives burning effigies of President Bush and calling him a Nazi in order to make war protesters look bad. Seems to me that they did that all on their own.
If the tea party movement is so racist, you'd think that more of them would be yelling racists slogans, rather than having signs about lower spending and taxes.
My point is this, the true nature of an organization will usually rear its ugly head after a while. Seems to me that the true nature of the tea party has been exposed. It's about limited government, lower taxes, lower spending, and the freedom to do business without being unnecessarily impeded by the government.

It's impossible for Americans who value freedom to wake in the morning and see the news without realizing that, in order to preserve the Republic, there are battles to be fought by those whose can see the corruption in Washington.
It is not that the people perpetrating the corruption in Washington are evil. It is that they do not share the dream for America that we have. If they ever believed that America was good and just and unique, somewhere along the line they have lost sight of it.
How the people who seek this socialist agenda got in power in this country is our own fault. We slept in the comfort of our lives. Oh, we paid our taxes but we never looked at what Washington was doing. We worked all week, handled family problems, spent our weekends at the movies, picnics on the weekend and perhaps a movie. We attended church on Sunday never giving thought to whether our Washington leaders had a relationship with God. We were secure in our belief that we had elected people to Washington who would never serve America on a silver platter to the world.
We could not have been more wrong.
The problem in Washington did not arise with this black president. The seed was planted many years ago. Every administration has done its' share of the care and watering of that seed. But we were asleep.
Barack Hussein Obama is no accident, no fluke. He is a carefully planned maneuver in a plan to rid the world of the "evil satan" America and the capitalism that made her so unique. We could name a few people who are behind this socialist agenda, but why? Obama is not giving the orders, he is following them. There is one obstacle they didn't plan on..... the American citizens who love their freedom and their country.
If there was ever a call to action for patriots, it is now. Concerned Americans need to get involved again. Speak out, go to TEA parties, fax, email, phone, walk in rallies, volunteer for your political party to secure polling precincts in November, 2010.....let Washington know we are awake.
If Obamacare didn't stir you to action, there is Cap and Trade and Immigration right on the heels of healthcare.
If we can mobilize, organize and win the battles, victory in the war will come to us. Then we can take care of Washington.
Indeed, let's see how much they like being "taken care of".
God protect us from the men and women who would take this country from her path to Him.
God bless America and her men and women in the armed forces who protect our freedoms every day by laying their own lives on the line. Are "We the People" that brave?

I recently went to Chicago, and while I was walking around the 'magnificent mile' area, I approached a corner where there was a group of people with a table set up & handing out flyers explaining why the big "O" needs to be impeached!! I could not stay & chat with them but did get a flyer. The fellow Patriot's name is Lyndon LaRouche. What a bunch of sore heads the Democrats are. When they do what they accuse the others of doing, it's fine and just the way it should be done. But put the shoe on the other foot and it's whine, whine, whine about how wrong the tea partiers are, and the Republicans are the Party of NO. I just love the way Pelosi trumpeted that now that Health Care has pssed, we are all on a par with Europe. Yeah, I guess that's why Europeans have always wanted to come over here for health care, right? She and Mr. Axelrod, and Harry Reid have so got their heads up where the sun don't shine it's pathetic. I would have to take issue with two elements of

First, I think the use of the word "leaders" is totally
misplaced. Leaders unite a team (company, army,
group, a country) in working toward some shared goal.
Health care was hardly a common goal. "our political
bosses" might be a better characterization.
I find it interesting that we have a local news
show here called "Power and Politics".
I have yet to find one called "Public Service
and Statesmanship".
Second, I continue to find the use of these name
calling terms (Socialist, Fascist, Marxist - probably
by people who never read Marx, Communist, etc)
to be counterproductive. They tend to distract
the argument into fighting over the meaning of
words. If you think the legislation is bad, just
call it bad legislation or unwanted legislation.

doesn't like. All his experience as a community organizer and part-time senator for IL and then a
part time senator from IL is really transforming
america. You know I pray for him every day, that God
will overrule him for His glory and for our good and that this wickedness that has befallen our nation will not stand as leadership, but that God
who raises up Kings and takes down Kings, will do
what is a very simple matter for Himself and remove
this blight upon our land and give us good, godly
leadership so again God can bless our land. God cannot bless a mess, instead He tells us to get things right between Him and ourselves so that He
can indeed bless us and that starts at the top.

If people are acting absurd (and are probably plants from far left organizations), then it is the responsibility of the true tea party people to call them out. Take their picture, have it posted on a website. I guarantee their are people that will know them, and will tell the truth about these imposters. Embarrass them...make anyone think twice about doing this in the future.

I feel I must comment on your decision to alter your format background. I have to say I do not like the new format, I was very fond of the old format, it seemed more rustic in the sense of the old republic, I really liked that old format. But I understand you feel the need to stay abreast with the ever changing ways of the electronic age, thats Okay, however I am not going to stop reading or participating in your work, I will continuie to send, forward, and comment on your articles to those whom I blog too, but I really miss that old antique american look and feel.
Thanks for doing what you do, I for one really appreciate the effort and hope with all my being that we are ultimately successful in our endeavor to restore this nation to it greatness which we have let slide for so long.
