Obama is leading us neither forward or backward, he is leading us downward, as in spiraling the toilet.

Obama is setting up the "New Plantation" where all will be enslaved by the government! It just won't be black people, it will be white people and everyone in between. Black people and families have become enslaved over the years since Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society' movement for those who have depended on government for assistance and handouts. I just cannot believe that people are this stupid not to realize that we will eventually lose our freedoms and become wards of the state just like the Nazis did before WW II in Germany.

Obama's plan to burn chicken excrement to create clean energy sounds like a lot of bull excrement to me!

He has and is taking America in all directions and with no apparent success. His ego is certainly bigger than his head and he still says he has never been wrong and always right. I guess we should chalk it up to his lack of experience and could only muster up PRESENT on key vote in Illinois and a US Senator.

What should the government's energy policy look like? First and foremost, put down the federal subsidies and back away!! Second, stop targeting certain, specific sectors of the energy market (oil companies and thier drilling operations most immediately come to mind). Third, open up the entire energy sector, "green" or otherwise, to the free market and let competition determine the success or failure of any particular type of energy production. Let the market decide what is going to be succesful, not the government.

Mr. Obama is not nor will he ever have the savvy to lead our nation in the right direction. His arrogance is showing in everything he does. He keeps using the word "I" instead of "we" when talking about the Usama bin laden killing. He has no knowledge about how to control spending and thinks he should be allowed to continue and lead us into bankruptcy, which will happen like a big train wreck unless WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE remove him from office this November.

The President has kept the promises he made to fundamentaly change our country to a socialist wasteland. Instead of raising up the standard of living for every one at the low end, with good jobs and increased net worth, we have become a house of cards built on fiat money and illusion, buying votes with promises of free "whatever you want" mr 99% because the 1% does not pay their fair share.

Obama isn't leading us anywhere. Stagnant is where he has us at the moment. The ultimate opportunist has chosen a new manta - "Forward." Forward to what? Where? What a joke he is, what a loser, what a liar.

I'm fascinated by Obama claiming that he(I)is responsible for the killing of Bin Laden. That mission was put in place under President Bush. Since Obummer is always blaming President Bush for our problems, why doesn't he give President Bush credit where credit is due? Because he is a socialist fool bent on the destruction of our country.

It continues to amaze me how many people follow along blindly at everything Mr. Obama says and does. Of course there are those who fund his ego-maniacal ideas because they believe there is a place for them in his elite society. Are the rest so brainwashed to think they are really going to receive what he promises? Why don't they realize they will be "nobodies" who are totally without personal freedom and totally under Mr. Obama's thumb? He has occasionally shown his true colors, including the scary fact that he considers himself superior to the rest of us and beyond blame or reproach. His attempts to control everything we hear, know, and see should be obvious. He will not be a kind ruler; his malevolence is apparent. I am a senior citizen and never before have I felt afraid in my own country. People in my age group are not useful in Obama's world, and will not be provided for.Everything Obama does politically is designed to bankrupt the American people financially and morally. That is the only way he can control us, and we are letting him get away with it. If he wins his "last election", there will be no more elections. He will assume dictatorship and studying history will unfold what our future will be. It's up to us to change this course of events. We can do it if we are willing accept the challenge.

I'm having a little problem regarding your characterization of wind-derived energy. I think its way too early to put much faith in the State University of New York's research in Texas and your pre-mature bandwagoning is not what I would expect from the Patriot Post. If turbulence causes local/global warming then we should flatten all mountains and valleys because they cause turbulence and mixing also - on a much grander scale. While I don't share your strong aversion to the sight of windmills I can accept woulddefend your right to your opinion. However, the bird-killing characterization is way over-blown. Wind power generation is not the be all/end all solution but it does hold potential. Personally, I am NOT AT ALL upset to see the scale of Federal stimulus/subsidies/freebies greatly diminish because it will bring adversity to the marketplace - and in a free business environment, adversity breeds competition and innovation. Only the most competitive, nimble,and innovative companies SHOULD survive.

Obama's spiking of the football brings to mind when charley Brown would go to kick the football and it would be pulled away just as brought his foot forward and fell onto his back. Obama can spike it all he wants but everyone knows the only thing he had to do with it was giving the order. It was the intelligence snd military who actually did it.

These policies are backward in every sense of the word. Regarding Political History, it seems as if we are going back in time to the days of the Nazi Party in Germany. This was a time when the Democratic Party was in power and Hitler only had a 17% following in the polls. He steadily gained until he was able to use brutal force against his people. First he played on emotion and then he used his "bad boys" to win elections.The difference (and our only hope) is that the majority of Germany voted out of blind passion and desperation while we have history to reference. After WWI Germany was starving (just like we might soon be). Today Americans are generally more literate and knowlegeable. Hopefully we can resist this "dumbing down" by our leaders and vote wisely. An educated analysis shows that current policies will lead to total Socialism and failure.

Immigration policy begins with the President who has the Gonads to do it. Treat illegal immigrants like they treat illegals to their county. No entitlements. DO NOT BUILD IT AND THEY WON'T COME. Please give us numbers on the employment/unemployment argument. A table with the date in column 1, the size of the workforce in column 2, the current official unemployment rate in column 3, and the current unemployment rate based on the workforce size in row one (the original workforce size) in column 4.This could be a spreadsheet display and it could be shown or linked to on the home page and in all emails.

I believe that if Mr. Obama is re-elected, this Country will have taken an irreversible path. This Country cannot take 4 more years of these policies without tipping to the dark side. If we just try to close individual programs or agencies through specific repeals, the job will never get done - there are so many duplicates and programs Congress forgot are in existence that nobody will see any difference. (Somewhere some scoundrel is probably getting rich off the taxpayer by pretending to be a lawfully authorized grant-or-subsidy-handout agency and processing "applications" submitted by colluding parties. There is so much to oversee that it could be years before Congress catches on.)It's like a house infested with multiple species of pests: you won't clean it out just by placing ant traps. You have to do a full fumigation or tear it down and rebuild.

What should energy policy look like? First, abolish the federal Energy Department. Then cancel ALL subsidies for all forms of energy. Then ensure that environmental regulation is the least required for public health, but rigorously enforced. Then . . . LET THE FREE MARKET TAKE CARE OF THIS SECTOR OF OUR ECONOMY.

Mr. Obama claimed, "We have built strong Afghan security forces..." I'm sure that's news to the many Afghans who sweated through months of training, quite possibly at risk to their lives and those of their families. Surely they deserve as much credit as their trainers.

Maybe it's just me…..maybe it's the cynic in me……maybe I'm just weird……maybe it's because it's just not that easy for me to believe everything I'm told from a government that lied to me about the Kennedy assassination…..the Vietnam war….Watergate…the Contra's….Vince Foster's "suicide"…..the ill-fated plane crash, of then Sec. of Commerce Ron Brown, (and 30 other poor unfortunate souls who were merely collateral damage, wrong place, wrong time)……"Monica" (I know, hardly worth mentioning, but a lie all the same)……Weapons of Mass Destruction, (ever notice how that term just kind of faded into oblivion, like they just don't even exist anymore) and the list goes on and on. And still I am expected to accept as fact, no questions asked whatever they tell me. Again maybe it's just me, but I have had a difficult time, from the start, with the whole Osama Bin Laden thing. Here is a man that the whole world had been searching for, for the past 10 years or longer. The most intense, expansive, costly, "world involved" manhunt the world has ever seen. Rumors had him sighted here, then there, in mountainous regions that we could not "easily navigate". In caves, in country out of country…."intelligence" reports had us within minutes of apprehending him, then they determined his whereabouts were too hard to pinpoint…..,really?. Even with the satellite and surveillance technology that is available, technology that can number the fleas on a camel, in the Sahara desert, from somewhere in the heavens, (well it may not be exactly accurate, but they can get close). The most wanted man on the face of the earth, with a $10,000,000….that's ten million dollars, bounty on him. And not even a trace of him can be found. Not one of his followers can even be tempted by $10,000,000 to hint of his whereabouts….. Then suddenly one evening, while relaxing in his compound, (that everyone in the world, now, seems to have known was his) kicking back with his family, watching a little Modern Family (the presidents favorite), or The World Soccer League maybe, or some old Arrested Development (season 1), could have even been Regis & Kelly…who knows. Strangely he was there, and apparently his "fortified" compound was not too fortified. It was breached with little resistance and within minutes he, Bin Laden, was dead, end of story. Then within 24 hours he was buried at sea, to accommodate Islamic Law. Aren't we polite and tolerant. This man who allegedly masterminded the most vicious attack on our sovereignty from a foreign entity, in the history of the US. This same individual that has eluded, the worlds most sophisticated intelligence networks, most highly trained, elite military units of all time, for all these years, was sitting at home one night just chillin, "and we got him", amazing. Then, we respect this most notorious terrorist in the world, enough, to adhere to his religious beliefs that he must be buried within 24 hours. And now we're celebrating the anniversary of his demise,…. in an election year,….. with the incumbent getting all the great press, makes for great politics, don't it. Is it just me? From my vantage point, (unemployed oil field worker) it appears to be a sharply downward plunge to socialism/communism and desperation. Luckily, the only large bill is my mortgage and with luck that will be paid off this year if I can go back to work. Getting out of debt before obongo causes this nation to fail is a priority. Notice the Obama life of Julia never specifies why she needs the surgery. A: They had a job that provided coverage. They took out insurance through the college. Or, they paid out of pocket and negotiated with the doctor on the fees and pay schedule.Q: How is equal pay defined? The same rate of pay per hour regardless of gender, or the same net take home pay at the end of the year?Q: Why must Julia take out a federal student loan? Why can't she take out a private loan? This nation stands at a critical juncture in its history. The next presidential election will be decided by the extent to which patriotic Americans go to the polls to vote either for a candidate who actually believes in the tried and true values which have built this nation or an upstart with little understanding of what this nation actually is who promises all things to all people (at government expense). It is frightening to realize that there are millions of people in this nation who having absolutely no sense of history have fallen for the progressive/socialist/communist hype as told by an empty suit person who has yet to open his own personal history for all Americans to understand. The deception of classic left wing chicanery is without doubt Obama's stock in trade learned at the feet of outright communists in his youth. He has no regard for "the masses" although he says he wishes to spread the wealth (even to those who want it given to them without exerting the least bit of effort). It is our hope that enough American voters have seen through Obama's thin veil of hypocrisy, subterfuge and outright lies who will vote him out of office. It cannot happen too soon.

The US energy policy should be, "drill here, drill now, mine here, mine now." If some wonderful, miraculous new "clean" source of energy comes along that will power private transportation, light and heat our homes and businesses, and take care of all our other energy requirements. The idea that the government can find this new and wonderful energy source is about as likely that a government somewhere would have invented or discovered any other source of energy or power that we're currently using. The government just gets in the way, witness EPA's new fracking rules.

Why is there no action being taken, or at least a cry of outrage against BHO’s “end runs”? Put up a Ten Commandments monument or a Christian cross, and immediately it’s in the courts.
