We do not need some future tyrant changing that preferred citizen status for their own agenda, you are free or you are not. ID is good, paid taxes yes, but only legally allowed by constitutional authority not to give away to some foriegn tyranny or government created welfare puke. 18 years old is fine as long as #4 is taken care of by a educational system where students are taught about our true history, founding documents and not some liberal BS feely, touchy, gun kill crap .

It wouldn't be a problem to come with photo ID to get inside a casino or night club for anyone of any age, or to pick up a government check on the 1st of the month. Why are we buying this liberal nonsense?

Uhhh... you realize most military members end up getting their taxes back, right? If anyone should have the right to vote it is those of us who have dedicated portions of our lives to preserving democracy. Our lowest paid members are below the poverty line, and until you are pretty high up the food chain, you get most or all of your taxes back.

Good points. Btw, i don't have a problem with people getting taxes back, it only means they paid more then they actually owed and the government got to use their money in the meantime.

I work as a janitor... pay my taxes... obey the laws.... give to my community... never served in the military but I sure helped pay for it! I guess that means I "dedicated a good portion of my life to preserving democracy."

Besides signing the letter to the Tolerant Mayors, do what I did and email them yourself as well. An online form is one thing but when they hear feom citizen after citizen telling them that you are not only going to cancel your vacation plans to their cityy, but you 3e going to actively discourage your family and friends from vacationing there too, because our values also do not agree with their so we assume they don't want our right-wing tourist money either...

Don't bother with Snopes. Did you know it is just a husband and wife in California and they are liberal? True. Try going online to find out what books are recommended for college history courses and then check it out at a college book store. Or check to see if the book is available free on line. Wouldn't surprise me though if they left the whole Bill of Rights out.
