The Patriot Post's mission is to advocate for Essential Liberty, the restoration of constitutional limits on government and the judiciary, and to promote free enterprise, national defense and traditional American values. Our objective is to provide Patriots across our nation with a touchstone of First Principles through brief, informative and entertaining analyses of relevant news, policy and opinion from reputable research, advocacy and media organizations, so they may better support and defend those Principles, and enlist others to join our ranks." —Mark Alexander, Publisher
The Patriot Post is not sustained by any political, special interest or parent organization, and we accept no advertising. Our mission and operations are funded entirely by the voluntary financial support of Patriots like you!
Oh please...While there is little good to say about Qaddafi, he did have one redeeming factor - he eventually learned to fear us.The people who will replace him are just as bad - but not afraid of us, since they view the so-called "Arab Spring" as proof that the moon-god Allah is escorting in the world-wide caliphate in their lifetimes. If my choice is between a very bad man who is afraid of me and a bunch of equally bad men who are not afraid of me, it stands to reason that I would not rejoice when the former is replaced by the latter. Not only are democratic elections NOT a sure gateway to the Rule of Law, but the idea that Islam is compatible with democracy is nonsense anyway. None of the languages widely spoken by Muslim populations even had a word for "democracy" before the 1890's, and even then it did not arise from within Islamic political culture: they just adopted their words from Greek. Not only that, but Muslims are specifically told to subjugate non-Muslims when in power - which is clearly very undemocratic.Islamic democracy usually means "one man, one vote, one time."
