With so many illegal immigrants applying for ITIN, it should come as no surprise that the U.S. Government is paying out billions of dollars in refunds to illegal immigrants. I read articles years ago regarding this. It is just one more example of why America will fail as a nation and as a people. With so much corruption in Washington DC, at the state level, the local level, by millions of individuals every year, the United States is easy pickings to get money out of the Federal Government and state government. Between welfare, food stamp, tax refunds based on fraud, rent subidies, free legal aid, medicaid, free school lunch program, and hundreds of other programs, we will not make it. America will suffer a financial collapse like never seen before in U.S. history.

Here is another example of cheating by millions of Americans. When the IRS required a social security number for all children two years of age and up, the following year more than 10 million dependents was dropped from their income tax forms that were filed. Isn't that amazing! The following year the IRS required social security numbers for all those two year of age and under. More dependents disappeared, but I do not remember the number. The ten million number, I always remembered because I could not believe there were so many tax cheaters in America.
