The Right Opinion
The War on Unborn Women
This week, Lila Rose's indispensable Live Action released undercover video showing a young woman entering Planned Parenthood and discussing her desire to get an abortion if her prospective child will be female. The Planned Parenthood employee, ever eager to help, says she'll do her best to be of aid, encouraging the young woman to use her Medicaid to obtain an ultrasound to help determine sex of the child.
Once the tape broke, Planned Parenthood quickly canned the offending employee. But the question remains: Why? Why would Planned Parenthood see fit to throw one employee under the bus merely for acting in accordance with Planned Parenthood's own principles?
Planned Parenthood, of course, is the nation's leading advocate of abortion-on-demand -- which means abortion for any reason. Don't want a female baby? Feel free to kill it. Don't like blue eyes? None of our business -- your body, your choice. Want a child with higher intelligence or greater athletic ability? Well, after all, it's just like a kidney, so grab a scalpel. It's hypocritical, to say the least, for Planned Parenthood to terminate an employee for seeking to terminate a pregnancy.
In fact, Planned Parenthood's spokeswoman responded to the Live Action report by stating that while the organization wasn't fond of sex-selective abortions, its job is to make available "high quality, confidential, nonjudgmental care to all who come." So unless it's illegal to abort based on the sex of the baby, Planned Parenthood is happy to assist.
In other words, the problem wasn't the employee. The problem was that the employee got caught.
The truth is that Planned Parenthood doesn't care about the rationale behind abortion because their sole purpose is abortion itself. They aren't pro-choice; they're pro-abortion. Even those who are pro-choice acknowledge that there are some choices that ought to be out of bounds -- there are many pro-choice advocates who oppose sex-selective abortion on the grounds that it murders the future generation of girls. Want a war on women? It's hard to fight that war any more effectively than by sending a Planned Parenthood Terminator back in time to take care of Sarah Connor's pregnancy.
Planned Parenthood makes the quasi-libertarian argument that any choice is a decent choice when it comes to abortion. No reason is too frivolous, no rationale too degraded. That means that Planned Parenthood doesn't want abortion to be safe, legal and rare, as in the cherished rhetoric of Bill Clinton -- they don't care whether it's rare. They just want it safe and legal.
So why isn't Planned Parenthood shouting in the streets about the wonderful service this undercover Live Action reporter was provided? Why aren't they bragging rather than cringing?
Because even Planned Parenthood knows that its brand of militant pro-abortionism is unpopular across the country. They know that if Americans recognized that Planned Parenthood isn't about women's health at all, but about unrestricted killing of the unborn, they'd lose their taxpayer funding in an instant. So they masquerade as a moderate organization, even if it means a loyal employee has to lose her job. Meanwhile, they oppose all laws that would have prevented this employee from trying to hand out sex-selective abortions in the first place.
Planned Parenthood makes about half of its money through abortion. It makes nearly half a billion through government funding. Both of those streams of revenue would shrink dramatically were the American public to realize that the organization is more interested in abortion-on-demand than the right to choose. That's why the leadership of Planned Parenthood continues to maintain the unsustainable positions that sex-selective abortion is bad and even fire-able, but should remain legal.

So according to the libs it's perfectly fine to kill an innocent human being who has yet to take a breath but judged by the mother to be an inconvenience, wrong sex, not genetically superior enough (by HER standards), BUT don't dare carry out the sentence of a person who has been tried, convicted of brutal, horrific crimes and sentenced to death.
If the libs didn't have hypocricy they'd have no beliefs at all.

Let's face it. Our elected representatives spend taxpayer money for all sorts of social experiments. We should force these issues to a referendum and let the taxpayers decide the fate of morally objectionable programs. It's obvious that our Congress will not get the job done but rather wait until they get majority status and then force feed their agenda on us. Congress and the current president are responsible for all of the country's ills. Try to think of one social program (or fiscal program) that is a failure and you will trace it back quickly to government. Now try to think of one success. Yeah, I couldn't think of one either.

Hypocrites of the highest order!
The liberal mindset and their democrat party just got fininshed pushing their much ballyhooed illusion of conservatives and their republican party as wageing a war on women. This because Rush wailed about the immorality of making the tax payer responsible for the cost of other peoples prophylactics.
Now we find out, that the pro abortion Planned Parenthood people, so much a part of liberals and the democrat party are just hunky dory fine with sex selective murder of unborn, developing in the womb, human, baby girls.
I`m not surprized really, as the under cover people, here, and with James O`Keefe, have begun to show the true underbelly of the monster we call liberalism.
Can there be any doubt liberalism is destroying America and American culture. Perhaps we, the non liberals should decide on a new relationship with liberals and their ideology, their philosophy. Perhaps it is time to stop preserving the Union first and begin preserving the culture first.
One and done! Nobama 2012, vote republican. Thank you.

"They just want it safe and legal."
Actually, I believe, they just want it legal.

I believe this is correct. I also believe this is the kind of plan that we are likley to end up with, though somewhat less generous as it will be forced on us by our creditors who won't give a hair about healthcare for seniors and the needy. Read "Penny Health" articles if you dont have insurance.

PRESIDENT George W. Bush had it right when asked about abortion during his 2000 campaign. He said "Abortion won't be illegal until it is socially unacceptable" Polls show that more than 50% of Americans believe abortion is bad, it is time to stop this barbaric procedure now.

"The Unaborted Socrates" by Peter Kreeft I believe in the right of the woman to choose. She has the right to choose NOT to have sex which is of course the root cause of pregnancy. The same is true that the man has equal responsibility in the matter for she cannot, without miraculous conception, partake in the root cause of pregnancy without his choice to participate. I also believe in the greater right of the child to choose life. In the question of rights, life is certainly the higher right that is far above the wrong assumption of convenience as a right. Convenience lost its right when the mother and father chose sex. Here we find occasion for the whole of society to speak on behalf of the one that cannot speak for herself.

You readers are right. It makes absolutely no sense that this administration says that Republicans have a "war on women" and then proceed okaying killing little girls. What woman in her right mind would buy that? Extremely stupid women, that's who. Perhaps we would be better off if their Moms had decided they weren't what they wanted, and chose a boy instead. Perhaps then we wouldn't have Rosie O'Donnell, Kathleen Sebelious, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and the like.
