Son of liberty...you are spot on! I believe that the major cause, actually THE reason our country has gone downhill so drastically over the last 40-50 years is the federal government's hand in education. They are turning our people into "useful idiots", brainwashed into believing the government is the the solution to all their problems! I went to a small country school in the 60s, and I am certain that what we had learned by the time we graduated 8th grade was more than most people learn through college---particularly this majoring in education, or "liberal arts" degrees! I pray we are not past the point of no return....and that God has not decided we are no longer worthy of His grace.
