I'm in California and I financially supported Walker... The key to taking back this Republic is focusing on the Senate races where true Conservatives/Libertarian candidates are trying to unseat the Republican Party machine candidates. Ted Cruz in Texas is an example.
Support those candidates against the elites and Senators like Rubio, De Mint, Rand Paul and others will have a greater platform to protect the taxpayer and the Constitution form those who would allow the United States to continue her decline.
