The Patriot Post's mission is to advocate for Essential Liberty, the restoration of constitutional limits on government and the judiciary, and to promote free enterprise, national defense and traditional American values. Our objective is to provide Patriots across our nation with a touchstone of First Principles through brief, informative and entertaining analyses of relevant news, policy and opinion from reputable research, advocacy and media organizations, so they may better support and defend those Principles, and enlist others to join our ranks." —Mark Alexander, Publisher
The Patriot Post is not sustained by any political, special interest or parent organization, and we accept no advertising. Our mission and operations are funded entirely by the voluntary financial support of Patriots like you!
Ken is correct to a point, but then it must confilct the teapartiers to death. Scream and scream about something Bill Press said, but wait, according to you, nobody listens to Bill Press, so it should not make any difference what he said. (Sorry folks, slipped something called "logic" into the comment section.) The Star Spangled Banner is not a horrible song, but a better anthem would be America the Beautiful. You teabaggers could even like that one! It has GOD in the very first verse!!! Even Battle Hymn of the Rebuplic (although a bit depressing prior to a sporting event) - heck you teabaggers!!! That one even specifies LORD - not just some generic GOD from what you believe to be phony religions (Jews, Muslims). And no.......none of any of the content of those songs were sung by your JEEEZUS, or located in the Bible. Man made songs, so don't get so emotional (stop crying there Righty!) when someone suggests that the current anthem does not serve us well.
