Wasn't it electing a Republican president that got us into this mess? The nation's first version of this - at the state level - was the brain-child of Mitt Romney - the Republican presidential nominee who is NOT going to save us from the very system he invented now that it is nation-wide. The Supreme Court Justice who cast the deciding vote in favor of Obama-Care (and authored the majority opinion in favor of its legality) was a "conservative" Republican judge appointed by a guy named George W. Bush. I seem to remember him being a Republican, too.

Republicans will not prevent the destruction of the Republic - they are too busy helping the Democrats cause it.

I wish I could share your optimism, but the U.S. has passed the point of no return. Buckle up: we're in for a rough landing no matter who wins in November.
