Amen Ollie! I have said for years that the U.N. is a boil on the butt of humanity. All I can see it doing is giving radical dictators a platform to spread their disease. Get us out and get them out of the U.S!

Why, exactly, does nothing ever happen regarding getting the U.N out of the U.S.?

Either move the UN or fence it in, so Goober and Bubba's asexual plaything can't get in to sell us out.

Whaddawe do, Col. North? The "Get US out of the United Nations" bumper stickers came from The John Birch Society, and, although I am in their camp, they have had a really tough time getting good press. I agree, though, that it is time to abandon those guys.

Since I (sorry once again) helped elect that "Fool On The Hill", and his dogs in the Cabinate i have seen them ignore the Law and the Constitution, so many times and The Supreme Court seem in League with the Devil, bent on starting the "End Times" and are on the Anti Christ's Leash it seams. I own 2 fire arms, and a Bible, and I look to the Bible to give me perspective on what is going on today...I can only conclude Jesus Christ is coming back soon! There is no organization on earth that I disrespect more than the UN! We did not join the League of Nations after WWI (good thinking), and, like any other organization that has leftist members, we lose while supporting the whole dirty group. They are toothless in achieving success in their global assignments. -- As for the UN "gun control" scenario for America, I say, NO! I will not give up my Second Amendment rights to own firearms, and go on record saying I will give them up only when they are pried out of my cold, dead hands.

I have wanted us out of the UN since I first started understanding exactly what it was about way back in high school. I was, am, and always will be a Marine. My father was a Marine before me as well as my uncle.(mothers side). We all own guns of one form or another and will never give them up: regardless of what the current POTUS or Sub Supreme Court might say. I have long been in favor of getting out of the UN and telling them to get the hell out of the United States, pronto! The UN building would make a dandy homeless shelter, which would be a much better use for it.

tod - the tool guy: Don't forget the 17th amendment and the creature from Jeykl Island (FRB), they all happened in 1913. The 17 changed us from a Republic to a democracy. The FRB gave us phony money. Its sole purpose is to protect the bankers. To borrow a phrase from Joe Stalin's best friend FDR, "1913 the year of infamy."

I wish every 'gun-clinger' in America would join the NRA; they're our only voice in the UN, because none of our politicians have the nerve to say no. the NRA needs our support to stay strong.

QWhy don't we just pull out of the U.N.? They cost us one hell of a lot of money to do nothing more than pacify the Middle East? It employes Polititians at exorbitant salarys to have people like Anan see the world at our (U.S.) expense! Dont we have Hillary spending enough? Pull out our troops, Let that cesspool fight it out amoung themselves and recognise the winning TRIBE! We do not need to waste any more of our Military to satisfy the egos of Anan and Billery? Our American Military has lost too many! Maybe we should draft the sons and daughters of our ELITE to fight?

As much as I dislike and even fear the UN, I think it would be a mistake to back out -- at least for the time being. With our standing in the world slipping that would bring about the marginalization of the USA, and like it or not we have to play on the global stage for economic survival. The USA would quickly be branded a rogue state. You think we have a hard time now getting cooperation from the global community. If we isolated ourselves and left the Chicoms and Ruskis in charge at the UN, they would thwart our every moves and have free rein to punish us by establishing trade and travel rules that leave us isolated.

On the other hand, I totally agree with you Colonel North that we should kick the UN out of the USA. My preferred venue is Port-au-Prince.
