What! Syria has weapons of mass destruction? How can that be? Oh yeah, maybe it has something to do with the endless truck convoys from Iraqi weapon storage facilities that flowed into the Bekaa Valley in the months leading up the the Iraq War (months when the U.S. sat on its hands while the U.N. dithered). Of course with all that advance warning, it's no wonder there were few WMDs found in Iraq. The irony is that we KNOW Saddam had WMD, and we KNOW he shipped them to Syria prior to hostilities, and even John Kerry KNOWS that Syria has the potential to use those same (Iraqi) weapons of mass destruction now, but we still pretend that "Iraq had no WMD" is a true statement.
