Howard: You seem determined to win an argument that makes no sense. For one thing, I believe that Clinton was entitled to get Mrs. Ginsburg on the Court, however much I despise her. Presidential elections have consequences and appointing justices to the Supreme Court is one of them. I see absolutely no reason why an appointee should have to face an inquisition by a bunch of second-rate senators. At least Clinton knew what he was doing when he appointed Ginsburg; G.H.W. Bush had absolutely no idea what he was doing when he seated David Souter.
You have yet to make your case that it is better to elect Democrats than RINOs, which in most parts of America is the choice that people have.
