Handing Over Our Lunch Money

We in the West continue to pretend that the violence committed by Muslims are all isolated events, whether it was Iran’s holding hostages for over 400 days; the attack on the USS Cole; 9/11; the massacre at Charlie Hebdo; the slaughter at the French deli; the burnings and beheadings in the Middle East; Benghazi; the blowing up of the Russian jet; the recent blood-letting in Paris that left 150 dead.

These are not isolated events, and even though I have only mentioned a few that have taken place over the past 36 years, they are not all of recent vintage. In fact, in one form or another, they have been taking place for the past 1,400 years, ever since the cursed Mohammad brought forth his cult of death. The religion has been exactly what you would imagine a religion created by a man who was both a pedophile and a butcher would be.

One American president after another has described Islam as a religion of peace, and Barack Obama has gone so far as to claim that Muslims helped create America and also played a major role in space exploration, although both claims are as false as his vow that we could keep our doctors and our insurance plans if we liked them. Islam was never peaceful. From the very beginning, those who refused to accept Sharia law and to bow down to Mecca were killed.

Unlike Christianity which says that we should treat others as we would wish to be treated, to love our neighbors as ourselves and to be our brother’s keeper, Islam’s message is a threat: Convert or perish.

Whenever I see the so-called Muslim moderate, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser show up on Fox, I am reminded of the well-dressed, well-spoken representatives of CAIR, the terrorist organization that attempts to pass itself off as a benevolent society, as if it were the Islamic equivalent of the Shriners.

Dr. Jasser keeps telling us that Islam is a wonderful religion that has been hijacked by a handful of thugs. Inasmuch as they have committed countless atrocities in the name of Allah in Spain, France, Egypt, England, Russia, Israel, Syria, Iraq, Java, Yemen, the Philippines, Lebanon, China, Austria, Italy, Argentina, India, Kuwait, Scotland, Japan and the U.S., that is some handful.

Dr. Jasser may mean well, but he is a boob if he actually believes that after 1,400 years, Islam is going to reform itself. If you’re looking for a religion you don’t have to apologize for every five minutes, try Christianity or even Judaism. They’re not always perfect, but at least they’re not torching churches, blowing up school buses and crucifying people for following a different faith.

And, please, I would appreciate it if those pinheads who feel the need to jump to the defense of Islam, don’t bring up people like Timothy McVeigh, Dylann Roof, James Holmes and Adam Lanza. For one thing, none of them screamed “Jesus is Great!” while on their killing spree; for another, when a so-called Christian murders people, other Christians do not rally to his side or celebrate the occasion by dancing in the street. Instead, other Christians either shoot him down like a mad dog or see to it he goes to prison. Furthermore, their religion tells them he will end up spending eternity in Hell, not Paradise.

But instead of acknowledging that a state of war exists between Islam and the rest of us, we in the West feel compelled to treat its followers with respect, a misguided attitude we never thought to show any of our former enemies. It’s true that it was easier to defeat a foe that had borders, flew a flag and had its combatants wearing uniforms. It’s far more difficult to defeat an ideology that has followers spread throughout the world. It’s comparable to removing an infected tooth as opposed to fighting a virulent form of cancer, but fight it we must.

After all, even cancer can be defeated. But not if you don’t fight back and not if you pretend it is benign.

Nobody raises a fuss if an FBI agent attends a church or a synagogue, but heads roll if it’s discovered that an FBI agent or a New York cop attends a mosque. Then it’s decried as infiltration. But if nothing criminal is taking place inside the mosque, if plans are not being hatched to massacre Americans, if the emir isn’t preaching murder, why isn’t an outsider as welcome there as he’d be in any other place of worship?

One keeps hearing that American Muslims are loyal to our country and our values, but that they are afraid to speak out against Islamic terrorism or the vilest aspects of Sharia law because they’re afraid of repercussions. That, alone, suggests that Islam isn’t as peaceful as they like to pretend. Besides, when women such as Wafa Sultan and Miriam Ibrahim have the courage to convert to Christianity, it is difficult to regard those who fail to follow suit as anything but cowards or frauds.

Those like Dr. Jasser who talk about their wonderful religion having been hijacked are lying through their teeth. Suggesting that there is nothing wrong with a religion whose Koran is a handbook for terrorism is reminiscent of those fools who keep insisting that communism is perfect, and that the only problem with it is that it’s never been done right, whether in China, the Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela, Mongolia or North Korea. Believe in Marx’s utopia, the idiots insist, not your own eyes.

My own politically incorrect suggestion is that we remove ISIS from the face of the earth, hopefully as a joint effort with every other nation it has threatened or attacked, and that we then bomb Mecca off the face of the earth, not concerning ourselves in the least with collateral damage, letting the Muslims know once and for all that our God is far more powerful and, yes, vengeful than their own puny deity.

It’s harsh, but they’ve been asking for it for over 1,400 years, and it’s time they got it. I, for one, am sick and tired of seeing the Islamic bullies demand our lunch money and, like a bunch of scrawny wimps afraid of our own shadow, we hand it over. What’s even more appalling, we then pretend we did it because we’re good guys who realized that they’re human beings just like us, and who just happen to be a little bit hungrier than we are.

The notion that we in the West can re-educate Muslims or show them a better way to live by our example is foolish in the extreme. It’s not just our movies or our music or the fact that we live in a post-9th century world that they hate. It’s our art, our culture, our technology, our Judeo-Christian values, our tolerance, our treatment of women, even, for all I know, our love of dogs.

The idea that we can civilize these savages is beyond ludicrous.

It would be easier to domesticate snakes and raise them for their milk.
