The hyper-partisan Obambi administration would never give any credit where credit is due. The Bush Administration started what the Clinton administration failed to do by starting the search for bin Laden. The Bush administration did what the Clinton administration failed to do by upholding international law and the UN Resolutions in Iraq.Obama occupied the Oval Office at the culmination of the Long Search and hesitantly gave the order to continue it, leading to its' conclusion.In Democrat parlance, bi-partisanship means shut up and agree with us. It hasn't changed.

Hi Michelle,It was my understanding that Mr. Bush was invited to the World Trade Center tribute. Mr. Bush turned down the invitation per his ongoing belief that he should recuse himself from current politics. Considering the President's previous behavior after inviting people to his speaches (attaching Rep. Ryan, ridiculing the memebers of the Supreme Court), I think this was a pretty wise move.

Then, as I began to radicalize on the right, I at first felt a little guilty, though circumstances dictated that I fight back against socialism.The edge of guilt feelings caused me to research. I learned that historically, the more each side of a political battle stood on principle, with uncompromising faith in their ideas and ideals, the better outcome for the nation. When the politicians are fighting tooth and nail, at least they are concentrating on issues instead of concentrating on reelection.No, Michelle, I do not want President Obama to use President Bush as a mere prop in a media event designed to make Obama look better for reelection.Obama did not "get" bin Laden. A bunch of CIA folks with no concept of time worked relentlessly to find an opportunity to get him and then helped with the strategic planning. The SEAL team, God bless them, were the tip of the sword that finished the job, at great personal risk.Let us give those folks all the credit. Obama can polish his own apple without President Bush's help, or yours, or mine.

I agree with robdog and Richard Ryan. Given Obozo's track record, he tried to lure George Bush into a situation where he could be attacked in public without recourse by this classless a**hole and his teleprompter controllers. As it is, any ceremony will be all about him instead of about the actual victims.

Did anyone notice the "great leader" in the picture from the WhiteHouse where Hilary and others were watching the SEALS mission live? Obama was in the corner all hunched down. No way did he look like the director of the operation. Still leading from behind.

I agree with President Bush's refusal and accept his reasoning that bho's whole idea behind the invitation was to use Bush as a political/campaign toy. Those of us who have been paying attention since 9/11 can see crap for what it is. As for finally getting bin laden, THANK YOU, PRESIDENT BUSH!
