I have a question. Why are liberals and the media so consumed with trying to make Sarah Palin look like a mentally retarded moron? Are they that scared of her?

If memory serves, several months ago Palin emails were released and it was determined that she did nothing wrong and that she was a good public servant who did her job to the best of her ability. If I remember correctly, the news media couldn't find anything to incriminate her with and decided to give up on the smear Palin nonsense.

So why again? What has Palin done to deserve this? If she is that much of a threat, then why not say so. Seems to me like the Liberals are truly scared that Palin could cause them to lose control and power and thats not what they want.

This is nothing but a baseless attack on someone who has really nothing wrong.

She a capable woman and a Republican. They do the same thing to capable Blacks who are Republicans. It's Junior High School all over again.

Where are the feminists? Shouldn't they be the ones defending this strong, capable woman? No. Palin doesn't deserve their support because she's not a liberal Dem.

Brent, you give a good reason why I wouldn't pay a nickel to add HBO to my list of home TV cable channels, and if they offered it for free, why I would program my TV to bypass it.

SIMPLE - If the left did not see her political abilities as a threat they would not be spending these large amounts of money in an attempt to damage her.

Why do "conservatives" follow the lead of "liberals" and talk about what the people pulling the media messaging strings dictate?

At some point, those of us who are sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution, need to do something about the "domestic" enemies.

This is easy to avoid; simply don't subscribe to HBO. Or un-subscribe.

The added bonus is the avoidance of Bill Maher.

Let me start by saying I'm not a big Palin fan. However, the media became completely unhinged over her. I finally figured out why. She was a threat to the girly-men in the establishment media--and at a very primal level. You know, such paragons of manly virtue like Anderson Cooper, Chris Matthews, and Brian Williams. She hunts, fishes, skins game, shoots rifles, drives snow mobiles, etc. Those are the kinds of things that terrify the leftist talking heads. In other words, her Alaskan outdoor lifestyle was in stark contrast to their pasty, effeminate, cocktail party lives. They know she has more testosterone than they do and it simply scares the panties off of them.

I'm no big Sarah fan, but sometimes PDS is fun to watch. Most of what they say is obviously made up and honest people with any brains know that. You don't get to become governor of Alaska by being a right wing extremist moron and people understand that.

I found it interesting that when TLC did the Sarah Palin's Alaska show, they didn't trash her in any readily noticeable way. In fact, when Kate Gosselin and her Plus 8 went on the show, Kate looked exactly like the whiny primadonna princess that she is and Sarah looked great.

If you are a liberal the greatest threat to America is not terrisom, the ecomny, debt, China,Russia,Iran,North Korea,it's Sarah Pailan and the tea party. If they are elected woman will die, children will starve, seniors will be pushed off cliffs in their wheelchairs, blacks will hang from trees, the inviroment will be ruined and the econmy will be destroyed because they are not for the little guy. All they care about is tax cuts for the rich.

I don't subscribe to any of the movie channels. Haven't for years. Why? The content. Hollywood product is generally substandard. For every "Kings Speech" there are literally thousands of "Hangovers". Hollywood directs its movies to children. And so a Sarah Palin cartoon is par for the course. I don't spend my hard earned money on inferior products.

Tom Hanks is mixed blessing. Good actor. Loved "Band of Brothers" and "Pacific". But politically he is a stupid liberal.

If you really want to put an end to this nonsense, opt out. Suck it up and cut the cable completely. Don't forget to let the cable company know why.

Continuing to bash Sarah Palin is akin to shoving a liberal finger into the freedom dyke. The pressure will eventually pour through and swamp the lies, obfuscations, corruption, and sleaziness of the left.

The leftists use basic political strategy when they bash Palin. The playbook for leftists politics includes making someone or some group "The Enemy". Obama has chosen to make Republicans in the House "The Enemy". The media has selected Palin.

This strategerie isn't new. George Orwell understood that leftist politics cannot stand alone based on its accomplishments (because there are none). In "1984", Orwell wrote about the "2 minute Hate" where the TV viewers screamed about Emmanuel Goldstein, a supposed revolutionary responsible for every disaster.

The American leftists/Marxists/utopians (call them what you will) demand a scapegoat and Sarah Palin fits the bill (at least, in their warped point of view). Obama's disastrous foreign and domestic policies are muted by the outraged screams of HATE against Sarah (Goldstein) Palin.

The radical left and media elites have no substitve material to support their agenda and philosophy. History, facts, rational thought, morality, judeo-Christian values, common sense, transparancy and logic all undermine the liberal agenda.

All they have are sensory "feelings", primal appetites, bombast and illusion. Their values and agenda can not stand on merit or their record. Therefore, the left's bets and usually only "defense" is to distort or censor inconvenient or contrary facts and opposing views, and to attack and destroy any critic, opponent or "traitor". That is why they give no quarter and name-calling, blackballing and ambush are their weapons of choice.

Bipartisan negotiation with radical leftists is a futile and losing proposition almost 100% of the time.
