The Emperor Barack
· Wednesday, January 18, 2012
Much like one of his predecessors, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Barack Obama has all but declared war on the United States Supreme Court.
It will be remembered that in 1937 FDR was angry over the high court's refusal to put a stamp of approval on much of his New Deal agenda, and sought to bend the court to his will by adding new members to the existing court membership.
Contemptuously calling the court's members a collection of "nine old men," FDR sought to "pack" the high court with up to six additional members more likely to do his bidding. The proposal lost steam and, thankfully, failed.
Mr. Obama has not gone quite that far -- yet. But he's getting close. Like most U.S. presidents who chafe under the high court's authority to rule on the constitutionality of aspects of their agendas, Obama is unhappy with the court's failure to recognize the divinity of his proposals, if not that of his personhood.
Too bad. As we are often reminded, "Into each life some rain must fall."
Thanks to the high court, Mr. Obama has been much in need of an umbrella of late. The president's Equal Employment Opportunity Commission was correctly overruled in a case involving religious freedom. The court clearly stated that the First Amendment protects churches in their decisions regarding workers with religious duties, a "ministerial exception" to employment-discrimination laws. This exception had already been supported by lower courts and many states.
Tragically for Mr. Obama and his vastly elevated ego, choirs of angels singing of the glories of his agenda cannot be heard. Despite the frantic efforts of his captive media to tune them in, the president remains a mere mortal, subject to all the slings and arrows that always target any holder of high office.
Soon the issue before the court will be Mr. Obama's health care program, rammed through Congress despite the widespread opinion that it was, and remains, nothing short of an opening to national socialized medicine. A ruling is expected by early July.
The question is whether the Constitution's Commerce Clause can be stretched beyond recognition to reach into everyone's pocketbook with the Obamacare mandate. We pray that the Supreme Court will put the question to rest with an emphatic rejection.
The notorious failings of Britain's socialized medicine have not failed to diminish the hopes and plans of our own fans of socialized everything -- of a government so big and so powerful that nothing can resist its meddlesome reach.
That is a lesson Barack Hussein Obama has yet to learn. If he doesn't learn his lesson by July, he will certainly learn it in November.

His assault on the Constitution which he vowed to protect and defend is treason.
Impeachment proceedings may not make it through congress but would serve to enlighten all americans as to his high crimes and misdemeaners. The MSM would be forced to actually report what this charlatan is up to for a change.

At war with the Court, at war with Congress, at war with States Rights, at war with the Constitution and the rule of law, At war with America. How many ways can you say Treason! His allegience to all that is Against America should make his term terminal. The problem is a constituency of inoctrinated idiots who can't see the crimes allowed and championed by the ministry of propoganda. Dire times indeed.

The mccrindles are right. The Obamanation's allegiance is to all things unAmerican. The problem I see is that BHO is largely winning the propaganda battle and the winner of that battle will be president for another four years. Republicans, stop fighting among yourselves and join together to fight Emperor Obama!

As long a journalists / reporters / pundits continue to try to squeeze an obtuse Obama into the round box which contains the values and principles of authentic Americans, even the most conservative and articulate will fail to reach the obvious conclusion that the man has never performed in a positive way toward solving the prodigious problems facing our country, and he never will.
At best, he is a first generation American who suffers from warped psychological conditioning and who has questionnable and potentially conflicting loyalties to its government . His personal history, his actions, and his friends bespeak his allegiance to a much more sinister and subversive radicalism.
I keep wondering if and when at least one media personality or one elected federal official will abandon his shackles of political correctness and begin to evaluate this man from the perspective of truth. It surely has not happened yet.

Even with the probable result of the Senate "not" following-through with Impeachment when the House will finally move forward, the House should Impeach now and let the chips fall where they may, i.e. track and record who votes against the impeachment... get it all on record.
This president, czars, non-acting democrats, and RINO republicans are breaking the laws of this country. We can no longer ignore it.
Also, with the past 50+ years of liberal movement taking this country to Socialism, one election cycle will not change anything. This country - "We the People" - must unite and make examples of those mentioned above as enemies of the US (domestic). They should all be Arrested and Tried, maybe then we could get some true patriots as our representatives, or they will understand that when they vote on issues against the Bill of Rights and The US Constitution, there will be serious legal action taken against them.
Impeach? - Yes, start the action now.
But more importantly - ARREST them NOW... try to save our country.

I have written my so-called representatives asking why they have not called for impeachment proceedings against the communist thug in the White House. If they even bothered to answer my queries, they responded with a mish-mash of meaningless blather, some of which didn`t even acknowledge the matter which I was addressing. Apparently there is not even one individual in congress who has the desire, or the cajones to tackle the issue.

@Richard: If there is no camera or internet involved, how would these creeps even realize that they may have cajones? They spend all of their time serving their constituents.

@ Richard Ryan and Holmes Simons: Or, our representatives are too busy posting pictures of their cajones on Facebook and YouTube!

If those who are called to represent us and do not do so,they cease to be our representatives and should be recalled to their home states to justify themselves to their constituents.
They have failed the American people, its principles and the Constitution.
The United States cannot go through another four years under the political conditions which now exist. There are far more important things to consider than the internet and what people do with it. It is time to take this nation back from those who act like traitors and those who pretend to care about America, but care more for their own objectives to destroy this country. Frankly, I am tired of going to the voting booth to vote for the lesser of two evils.

We may not last long enough as a semi-free, nation to have elections in November.
