The Patriot Post's mission is to advocate for Essential Liberty, the restoration of constitutional limits on government and the judiciary, and to promote free enterprise, national defense and traditional American values. Our objective is to provide Patriots across our nation with a touchstone of First Principles through brief, informative and entertaining analyses of relevant news, policy and opinion from reputable research, advocacy and media organizations, so they may better support and defend those Principles, and enlist others to join our ranks." —Mark Alexander, Publisher
The Patriot Post is not sustained by any political, special interest or parent organization, and we accept no advertising. Our mission and operations are funded entirely by the voluntary financial support of Patriots like you!
Whenever anyone asks about the commitment the American people have to freedom and liberty, all anyone needs do is point to the grave sites around the Normandy beaches.
Freedom isn't free. What a trite sounding term. It doesn't seem to do our heroes justice. As if they all checked out at some register on high and paid a bill. Some of these men never came home. They lay on a blood-soaked beach on some island in the pacific. They are the reason we as a nation exist today. Some of them were scared boys, barely out of their teens, who bravely rose to the challenge and proved that they understood that a man's ultimate virtue is to sacrifice. God on high set this standard by the sacrifice of his Son two thousand years ago on Calvary.
And what do we today do? We forget them, or if we don't forget them, we don't remember them as we should. They gave their lives for us. The least we could do is to live our live remembering that sacrifice. Remembering to honor the trust they passed onto us with their dying breath:
"For God and Country, I fought for you."
