Liberal Group's Medicare Ad Shows Paul Ryan Throwing Grandma Off Cliff
Thursday, May 19, 2011
Just when you thought you'd seen it all, well ... you haven't. This ad by The Agenda Project tries to depict what liberal minds claim Rep. Paul Ryan's Medicare proposal would do to seniors.
Apparently, throwing old women off a cliff is the new Republican agenda. Just imagine if the shoe were on the other foot...
Also, no word on whether Newt Gingrich supported this message.

Perhaps we should see the reality of Pelosi and the really old guy throwing the entire United States off the cliff.
Fear-mongering and pandering sells to a weak-minded people.

How about a video showing throwing James Madison, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Adams, etc. off a cliff? And why not of young people being thrown off a cliff? Why not call social security and medicare by their correct name, "Stealing from your children and grandchildren"? BTW, I am not a kid, but 66 and getting back some of the money the government stole from me. What would you call it if something is taken from you under duress? Don't pay your FICA and see what happens. At least it is the IRS and not the ATF as they would save you by burning down your home with you in it.

Perhaps, the GOP could make an Ad wherein a tall, slender man of minority etnicity with big ears pushes an feeble old man resembling say Benjamin Franklin (he was old about 80 when he attended the Constituional Convention) off the Philadelphia State House.

I think the R's should run this ad, and end it with a short message delivered by Paul Ryan explaining what the options really are for Medicare. It is so offensive and over the top that it works against itself.

Where is the "Idea Guy" of the GOP?
The proper reply should have been released BEFORE this lie as a proactive communication. React mode rarely works! First impressions are the most lasting.
The true perspective should be a grandmother surrounded by her twenty grandchildren giving them hugs and explaining where her generation allowed the U.S. government to go astray and that she is willing to make life better for them if they will care for her. She could end with something noble like:
“If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.” Thomas Paine: The American Crisis, No. 1 (1776)

"Tell a lie. Tell a big lie. Tell it often."
Buckle your seat belts, friends, and get the puke pail in position. The next two years are going to be more of the same.
They do not care about our financial and economic crisis, or the terrorists living next door. It is all about the next election. They are DESPERATE and willing to crawl on their bellies like a snake to save the Oval Office and some Senate seats.

Notice how the Liberals stuck to their guns about not depicting violence in their ads. They deliberately left out a target on the old lady. Get used to this. We're going to see a lot more of this hate before we get our country back from the Socialists.

Well, I'm 72, have the "gun-to-my-head" MediScam" "coverage," and I'd be absolutely delighted to dump said plan.
Where's the cliff? I'll even go voluntarily!

Disgusting ad! I wonder what the Dems would have said if the Republicans ran this type of ad around the time that Obama Care was passed (cutting $500B from Medicare).

This is what the dems have to show to wake up their ignorant followers, they know they'll lose the next election if they can't get all those morans who can't think for themselves to vote again! THE TEA PARTY NEEDS TO GET IT IN GEAR AND FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE!! 50% of Detroit residents can't read or write!! Does that tell you anything!!!

This was a video in very poor taste. What Mr. Ryan has proposed will in no way lead to this type of situation. I am a senior citizen myself and I have tried to live a healthy life. Excercising and eating healthy foods and not smoking or drinking alcoholic drinks. I am opposed to having to pay for people who have abused their health their whole life, and then when their bodies can no longer take the abuse and break down, they expect the rest of society to pay for their health costs. That is not what I anticipate having to support in my later years. My budget could not support that cost.

No surprise here. The left has been using these vile tactics for some time to reach those who don't bother to think. They aren't required to back their shock ads with any facts. Rather, they want to take you as far from facts as possible. This is the way of the socialist mindset. They want nothing less than to convince the sheeple that only the far left form of government can save you from those who believe that a free society of responsible citizens can take care of each other without giving up their freedom. God bless the founding fathers! They had it right!

This is all the Left has...they CANNOT debate on issues because Americans don't swallow their agenda.
Instead, we all know their politics of personal destruction, we know it's coming in each election cycle. We need to ignore the Left and focus on what this country needs. Vote intelligently; don't worry about childish Liberals.

Unfortunately, for all of us, this is the level of respect put forth by practically all ad campaigns ; designed for a citizenry that is considered stupid and gullible ..... according to the producers of this video .... and thousands of others, as well.
It is time to fight back and fight back hard.

Anyone with a brain in their skull can see through the misrepresentation that this ad promotes. Of course, those are NOT the people this group is marketing to.
Privatization (and elimination) of government functions is the ONLY solution to reducing the insane financial burden that has been created by doing just the opposite. Government is Overhead and the only way to save this country is to cut the overhead.

What garbage! How can anyone be influenced by such BS? I am offended that some agency would expect me to be infuluenced by it. All it does is turn my stomach.

This is disgusting and demonstrates that liberals cannot walk the walk when they claim to respect seniors. Such an ad, for any purpose, is tasteless, patently offensive and shows an utter disregard for the elders in our society. Sadly, they probably think it is humorous.

Ha! That's very amusing. Hopefully people see how ridiculous it is.
FYI-There is a link to another Agenda Project video which has a very offensive title popping up after this one plays. Really NASTY! Is there any way that you can block the links?
