Pelosi Distances Dems From 'Occupiers'
Wednesday, January 18, 2012
"As opposed to the Tea Party, which was practically a wholly owned subsidiary of the Republican Party, [Democrats] don't really have much of a connection with the Occupy [protesters]."
As "Occupy Wall Street" becomes more embarrassing by the day, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is attempting to separate any connection between OWS and the Democrat Party.
Back in October Pelosi had nothing but praise for the Occupy movement:
The message of the protesters is a message for the establishment everyplace. No longer will the recklessness of some on Wall Street cause massive joblessness on Main Street. ... God bless them for their spontaneity. It's independent ... it's young, it's spontaneous, it's focused. And it's going to be effective.
Even more recently, Pelosi claimed that OWS has "strengthened our democracy":
The level of civic engagement we've seen from ordinary Americans in recent months has strengthened our democracy. Americans must come together to demand the change they want to see in their lives.
This week, however, Pelosi changed tactics, opining that there isn't much of a connection between OWS and Democrats. She went further by comparing Occupiers with the Tea Party:
As opposed to the Tea Party, which was practically a wholly owned subsidiary of the Republican Party, [Democrats] don't really have much of a connection with the Occupy [protesters]. In fact, they probably have some sentiments that overlap between the two [groups].
But here's what Pelosi had to say in 2010 about Tea Partiers:
We share some of the views of the Tea Partiers in terms of the role of special interest in Washington, DC, as -- it just has to stop. And that's why I've fought the special interest, whether it's on energy, whether it's on health insurance, whether it's on pharmaceuticals and the rest.

Just like ol' San Fran Nan, trying to have her cake and eat it too! Is there no end to demon-crat hypocracy.

I would like to second the Politically Incorect notion first espoused by Ann Coulter last year. Nancy Pelosi is a retard. As in delusional mentally challenged crazy. Who does she think she is fooling? Maybe her gay San Fagsiscan constituency. Sorry to any sane or straight folk still inhabiting the Bay area.

San Fran Nan looks to the T.E.A. Party and republicans as a causal relationship, when it is a actually more of a ground-consequent relationship; the ground being our Constitution and consequentially the need to return to it.
Her flip-flops as regards the OWS is that she is playing the numbers game. As long as she can see a rise in her approval ratings as a result of her approval of OWS, she approves. Obviously she is not getting that "bump" any longer.
Its probably the rats in McPherson Square.

Fed Up
Let's do a poll of each OWS political affiliation and voting records. I bet we won't find even one who voted Republican or Conservative in past elections.
OWS Protesters = Liberals = Democrats = Socialists = Dysfunctional Minds

That lady is such a dolt; I am amazed there are that many stupid people in her voting district that voted for and kept her in office all these years.
Doesn't say much for those wayward, deprived souls in San Francisco, now does it?

I agree with Fed Up' comment,
"That lady is such a dolt; I am amazed there are that many stupid people in her voting district that voted for and kept her in office all these years". I live in Washington State (originally from Ohio) and there are A LOT of those same people here who keep putting the dolts, morons, and ID10Ts back in office time after time and wonder why nothing ever changes. The sheeples will vote for whoever they are told to vote for. By the way, we even have felons and dead people who vote in our elections up here. Truth is stranger then fiction!

Nancy Pelosi is a typical Democrat - saying whatever will do her the most good, regardless of the truth. I don't ever consider anything I hear from her as being factual, truthful, or honest. Anyone who does needs psychiatric help.

There is no way Pelosi can distance herself and the Democratic party from the occupiers, they own it. Just another example of the lunatic ideas this party comes up with. These people are insane, out of their minds, crazy, dangerous people.

Now she will say this after the incident at The White House when one of these trashers supposedly threw a bomb there. However, the Democrats know that she was all for them all along.
