White House Hosts Philanthropists
To talk redistributing their wealth.
The Obama administration recently hosted a conglomerate of young billionaire philanthropists to discuss ways of redistributing their wealth. The event, planned by the White House and the Nexus Network, a 1,000-member strong philanthropy group, was held in late March and included meetings on “Climate Change,” “Millennial Healthcare” and “Revitalizing Cities” among other social endeavors. Pritzkker Simmons, who raked in $500 million at the age of 19 by suing her family, said, “I was a little worried they were going to get a bunch of rich kids in the room and fund-raise for the Democratic Party. But they didn’t.” Not explicitly, perhaps, but Simmons’ remark show how blind they really are. Democrats support social programs in the name of “the greater good” because it’s their best tool for recruiting constituents and broadening their voter base by enslaving the collective.
