The Patriot Post® · Baldwin: The Grassy Knoll Assassin Strikes Again
So, the investigation of Alec Baldwin for the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October has transitioned from tragic to surreal conspiracy theory.
In my original analysis of this incident, “Baldwin: ‘Prop Gun’ Blame-Shifting,” I had no idea how far his blame-shifting would depart from reality.
Baldwin, who is being investigated by the Santa Fe County, New Mexico, sheriff’s department for, according to a warrant, firing the gun that killed Hutchins while rehearsing a movie scene, now has a starring role in an ABC “hard news” pretense — the network’s latest celebrity clickbait interview vying for advertising revenue.
Teeing up the interview, former Clintonista and now ABC golden boy George Stephanopoulos declared: “I’ve done thousands of interviews in the last 20 years at ABC. This was the most intense I’ve ever experienced.” The interview I really want to see George do would pit Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Monica Lewinsky in the same room! And let’s add Jeffrey Epstein to the mix…oh, wait…
In his sit-down with Stephanopoulos, the weepy Alec Baldwin is now claiming that miraculously: “The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger.”
Stephanopoulos: “So you never pulled the trigger?”
Baldwin: “No, no, no, no, I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger. Never. … I cock the gun. I go, ‘Can you see that? Can you see that? Can you see that?’ And then I let go of the hammer of the gun, and the gun goes off. I let go of the hammer of the gun, the gun goes off.”
Right, read the script.
Stephanopoulos: “Do you feel guilt?”
Baldwin: “No. No. I feel that there is, I feel that someone is responsible for what happened and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me.”
He added, “I might have killed myself if I thought I was responsible, and I don’t say that lightly.”
In my earlier analysis about Baldwin’s response to his negligent discharge of a firearm, I noted, “I believe every word of [Baldwin’s] statement and have no doubt he is deeply grieving the death of one of his set crew, a death due to his negligence.” And grief can result in delusional denial, especially in celebrity bubbles.
So, is his defense that he did not actually cock the single-action Colt .45 Peacemaker revolver, point it, and pull the trigger. He may argue that the hammer was bumped while the weapon was pointed in the direction of Hutchins. I don’t know the mechanics of this particular Italian reproduction weapon, but, however unlikely, on some weapons a hard strike on a hammer could result in the weapon discharging the single live round in the cylinder with five blanks. Maybe his phony celeb wife Hillary “Hilaria” Baldwin came up with that defense.
However, I think a more viable and defensible explanation would be that the “CIA assassin” on the grassy knoll above Dealey Plaza in Dallas, has struck again. And there is the “magic bullet” parallel too — according to the medical examiner, the bullet that killed Hutchins then wounded director Joel Souza, just as the bullet that killed JFK in 1963 then wounded Texas Gov. John Connally.
It is, in the inimitable words of Yogi Berra, “like déjà vu all over again.”
And why not proffer that defense? I mean, according to the Leftmedia bobbleheads, that Waukesha SUV that murdered six and critically wounded many others last week must have been remotely controlled by the grassy knoll assailant.
And as the Chicago race-bait hoax trial of “Juicy Smoolyay” concludes with guilty verdicts agains Smollett, perhaps he could have won a nullification finding from the jury if only he had claimed his assailant was the grassy knoll assassin in a MAGA hat.
Yeah, that’s the ticket!
