You may have picked up on some noise last week about Caryn Elaine Johnson, a.k.a. “Whoopi Goldberg.” She is one of those comedic celebrity hypocrites who aren’t subject to cancel culture because they are, of course, protagonists of the racist Democrat Party. That rule applies to all leftist celebrity comedians unless one of them dares to suggest there are only two genders, as did Dave Chappelle, in which case you are targeted for annihilation.

Goldberg is a cultural appropriator who, under her alias, has lied about being Jewish, and she’s one of the talkingheads on ABC’s “The View.” She was suspended, not fired, for suggesting that the mass murder of six million Jews by the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, a.k.a. the “NAZI Party,” was somehow less significant than racism in America — because, she said, Jews and Aryans “are two groups of white people.” She continued her incoherent line of logic: “The minute you turn it into race, it goes down this alley. Let’s talk about it for what it is. It’s how people treat each other. It’s a problem. It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white because black, white, Jews, Italians, everybody eats each other.”

As political analyst David Harsanyi observed, “She, like many people these days, is unable to properly contextualize history or see it outside her own contemporary leftist worldview.”

Ironically, Goldberg dug herself into this hole while falsely asserting that a Tennessee County had “banned” a graphic novel about a Holocaust survivor, Maus. In fact, the book was not banned, and is still in the school’s library. However, after parents complained that it was too graphic to be required reading for their middle schoolers, it was removed from that list. According to Goldberg and her leftist ilk, you can’t have pesky parents sticking their noses into what kids are being taught. You know, like parents did last fall in Virginia — followed by Democrats being swept out of office.

In her apology to save her job, Goldberg said, “Words matter and mine are no exception.” That is equally true of her false remark about the book banning. As a result of Goldberg’s erroneous claim, the school received hundreds of threats.

After her remarks, because it is Black History Month, Goldberg was sent to her room for only two weeks by ABC News President Kim Godwin, who said, “While Whoopi has apologized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments.” Right.

Goldberg’s inner Caryn is emerging after being scolded, and she is threatening to quit. Seems unfair. Kamala Harris is only half-black but has yet to be charged restitution fees for her white half’s slave-trading days. And Demo squadster Ilhan Abdullahi Omar (D-MN), the Jew hater, is still spewing her anti-Semitic rhetoric in Congress.

What follows are some social media conservative memos to Whoopi:

Ben Shapiro: “If Whoopi Goldberg had ever expressed sympathy with a conservative cause in her entire life, she’d be out of a job today. But Leftism confers immunity from anti-Semitism concerns, as we already know from Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.”

Meghan McCain: “There’s no point calling for Whoopi to be fired — her half-assed apology for antisemitism only shows again the double standards television holds for liberals and conservatives.” (Of course, if the leftists did not have double standards, they would have no standards.)

Brent Bozell: “A two week suspension? That’s it? Would a conservative get a mere slap on the wrist for such a horrific statement? I think we all know the answer.”

Dave Rubin: “A black woman with a Jewish stage name got suspended during black history month for talking about the Holocaust.”

John Podhoretz: “Drop the Goldberg name you co-opted, Whoopi — you don’t deserve it.”

And finally, a headline from our favorite satire site, The Babylon Bee: “Biden Quietly Withdraws Whoopi Goldberg SCOTUS Nomination.”
