The words “elections have consequences” were spoken by our humble, first black president (insert sarcasm here), Barack Obama. Having won the presidency, he also had a majority in the House and Senate. Meeting with leaders of both parties to chart a way forward, Obama said: “Elections have consequences! I won!” Obama told Republicans they were committed to the back seat; he was in the driver’s seat.
Because Republicans didn’t want to be called racist (they were called that anyway), they didn’t challenge Obama’s unconstitutional actions. Author David Limbaugh wrote two books during Barack’s first term detailing everything he did in violation of the Constitution. Yes, elections have consequences.
In 2020, the media reported (with a straight face) that Biden won 81 million votes, beating Trump. The dumbing down of our educational system finally worked in the Democrats’ favor. Trump’s campaign events, with thousands and sometimes tens of thousands of attendees, were no match for Biden’s brilliant basement strategy.
Now we have a president who’s made Jimmy Carter look like a seasoned statesman! What was former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates’s opinion of Biden? Oh, yeah: Biden was “wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue” over his entire career. Now, as commander-in-chief, his incompetence has brought America to the most dangerous place we’ve ever been.
It’s bad enough that inflation is continuing to rise. Everything cost more, and we’re no longer energy independent. The price of homes, cars, groceries, and utilities hurts the majority of American households. But that pales in comparison to the real crisis Biden’s policies have brought to the country. With millions of illegal immigrants entering America, many of them from terrorist countries that hate us, we are the most vulnerable to terror we’ve ever been.
Biden’s disastrous retreat from Afghanistan led to terrorist groups we once defeated coming back into Afghanistan. His failure there gave Russian President Vladimir Putin the boldness to invade Ukraine, with much more deadly results than Obama’s failure to act. China sent a spy balloon across our country, hacked our security systems, harassed our ships and aircraft in the Pacific, stole our technology, and tried to gain access to our military bases. Joe’s responses to all of these acts of aggression? Crickets.
Could it be Biden doesn’t want to ruin a good thing with all the money he’s made from countries that hate us? Inquiring minds want to know! Because of Biden and Obama’s pandering to Iran, the largest supporter of terrorism in the world, Israel is facing all-out war on three sides. Iran is doing it with cash we’ve allowed by not enforcing the sanctions on Iranian oil, bringing tens of billions of dollars into its coffers. Spare me the denials that none of the $6 billon Joe unfroze has been used for the recent terrorist attacks on Israel.
Biden went to Israel and gave lip service to the Israeli people. This is the same person who did everything he could with Obama to get Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defeated in Israel’s elections. Can Israel trust Biden to keep his word? At its own peril.
Prayerfully, when we go to the polls a year from now, we’ll remember the devastating results of the last time we voted for the leader of the free world!
