“The behavior of the MIT staff is carrying forward what most American students have been fed for their whole education experience: No accountability, only threats. These are foreign guests here to take advantage of our education system. They are not U.S. citizens and should be ejected for their disrespect of our norms and customs. When you’re told to stop and don’t, there should be no more discussion. These are adults, after all. If any American did these things in these guests’ home countries, he or she would be in jail or on a boat heading home. Get these vermin off my homeland and let it be a warning to those who are still here.” —Oregon

“I weep for our country and her vets. I’m struggling to understand how Americans can stand by and watch these acts against the U.S. and Israel. Those rioting who are guests should be sent home and never welcomed again. The citizens should be shunned from polite society and remembered for their hate and fear of Jews and Christians. Allowing this level of hate and libel against American citizens, Christian or Jew, should have been stopped at the beginning. And it should have been made clear to our guests that we have no tolerance for terrorist worship and religious hatred. They should have been made examples of for the rest.” —Oregon

“Even Gavin Newsom snuggling up to China is not the issue here. More to the point is that they can and did clean up — in an expedited fashion, I might add — which means they could have done it long ago but simply did not care to! What this clearly says to San Francisco, to California, and to the nation is that Newsom and every other slumlord in every other slum of a Democrat city couldn’t care less about those forced to live in such disgusting squaller; they have much more important issues to deal with, like sucking up to China, which seems to be the trend these days.” —California
“Decades of the black community faithfully giving 90% or more of its vote to Democrats seems to make no sense when one considers the devastating effects that Democrat policies have led to. But there’s a chicken-and-egg dynamic at work here. Blacks don’t vote for Democrats in the belief that the policies will change; Democrats enact policies with negative impacts because they know they can count on the black vote anyway. Our government suffers from metabolic syndrome. Spending and domestic power, like excess carbs, have made it obese. It is inflamed with bureaucratic politicization. It has become stiff, ponderous, grouchy, tyrannical, and shows signs of dementia. When some in the family tried to impose a fitness trainer (Donald Trump), it threw a fit and rebelled. “Nu-Scale said it was unable to obtain enough agreements with potential customers in Idaho. Apparently, even with a $0.03 per kWh federal subsidy, the projected wholesale cost of electricity ($0.089/kWh) was too high. Much of that cost is recovering the expenses associated with obtaining U.S. government permits. For example, they have designed a scaled-up 70 MW reactor based on their already approved 50 MW design. They expect it will take the U.S. government two years to complete the approval process. Meanwhile, Nu-Scale has contracts to install its reactors in Poland and Romania.” —Minnesota

“I find Tim Scott to be fantastic person and an inspiration. I believed that his campaign was a ‘get to know your next vice president’ tour. I am saddened that he announced he wouldn’t be anyone’s running mate. I know this won’t be the last we see of Tim. He has a long career ahead of him. I am sure one day he will be the candidate at the top of the ballot and a gracious and adored president.” —Arizona
