In the first edition of the Star Wars series, “A New Hope,” Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi find themselves in danger. They’re attempting to escape the planet with Princess Leia’s droids. At an Imperial checkpoint, Obi-Wan uses his Jedi mind powers to convince the soldiers, “These are not the droids you’re looking for.” The weak-minded soldiers wave them through.

Today, leftist politicians and their mainstream media partners have successfully used the same Jedi mind tricks on the American public. In recent days, concerns about Biden’s age and cognitive ability have brought about an amazing level of Jedi mind control. Here’s just a few:

“President Biden and I have demonstrated there is a smarter way when it comes to America’s national security.” —VP Kamala Harris

There are hundreds of equally idiotic Jedi mind tricks being dumped on America to convince us the three-year train wreck of the Biden administration has been great. Governor Newsom of the People’s Republic of California recently commented that Biden’s age, character, experience, and integrity are what make him a great president (insert laugh). We’re fortunate to have him as our Supreme Leader (okay, that was my term).

Apparently, “We, the People” are not listening. We — not the weak-minded citizens that succumb to the Left’s Jedi mind tricks day after day. If the economy is better, why can’t we buy a new home? Why can’t we afford a new car or groceries or to pay our utility bills? If America’s safer because of the Biden/Harris duo, why is the world seemingly on fire?

Afghanistan is in the hands of a more brutal Taliban regime than before. Russia invaded Ukraine. China is threatening Taiwan. An army of military-aged illegal immigrants are in our country. Venezuela seems to be emptying its prisons and sending them to our borders. Crime is up. Sex trafficking is up. Opioid deaths are skyrocketing. Other than a few hiccups, Joe’s doing a great job!

Why not give him four more years? I mean, what can possibly happen? How about 20 million illegals in the country, opioid deaths rising to 200,000 every year, more homeless on the streets, more poop maps in our major cities, no gas for our cars, no heat for our homes, and so on. But hey, America deserves to be brought down a notch or two, and Joe’s the guy to do it.

I guess Jedi mind tricks do work on people. They’re called Democrats!
