50 YEARS OF DEBATES HAVE SHOWN US WHO BIDEN IS

• With the first presidential debate of the 2024 election just a week away, the Biden team has been in “intensive discussion and preparation” at Camp David, hoping Biden will be able to revive his former strength.
  • Meanwhile, President Trump has been traveling around the country, engaging with voters at rallies and through media interviews.
• Biden has been doing political debates for 50 years, having taken part in at least 40 candidate debates since 1972.
  • Despite this experience, Biden’s debate performances have been described as “shaky” and “pretty bad” and are often filled with lies.
  • From musing about “clipping coupons in the stock market,” to calling Bernie Sanders “the president,” Biden has had a tough time on debate stages.
  • Biden has used debates to assert his commitment to the far-left, while regular Americans are left behind and forgotten.
• More than three years into Biden’s presidency, the American people have seen nothing but crisis after crisis, have less money in their pockets, and are tired of their tax dollars being wasted.

BIDEN HAS CREATED AN UNPRECEDENTED CRISIS AT THE BORDER

• Biden’s failed immigration policies have created an unprecedented crisis at the border. 
  • In Biden’s first 100 days, he took more than 94 executive actions on immigration, including halting construction of the border wall and ending the successful “Remain in Mexico” policy.
  • Since then, more than 6 million migrants have crossed the border illegally.
  • Biden has set the record for all-time migrant encounters at the southern border every year of his presidency.
• Under Biden, more people on the FBI terror watchlist were arrested at the southern border in FY 2023 than in the last six years combined. 
  • Law enforcement recently arrested eight individuals from Tajikistan with potential ties to the ISIS terror organization.
• Illegal aliens have committed horrific crimes against American citizens. 
  • Just this week, an illegal alien was arrested for the brutal rape and murder of mom-of-five Rachel Morin.
  • Earlier this year, 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley was murdered by an illegal alien while out on a run.
• Public resources in cities across the United States are strained due to the massive influx of migrants dependent on welfare. 
  • Several hospitals are struggling to stay afloat amid millions of dollars in unpaid medical debt racked up by illegal aliens.
  • New York City is struggling to fund its police force after massive spending on services for illegal aliens.
• Fentanyl, now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 45, is pouring through the border. 
• Under Trump, the border was secure – and will be again under his leadership.
  • President Trump built nearly 500 miles of the world’s most robust and advanced border wall, resulting in an 87 percent reduction in illegal border crossings where the wall stands.
  • President Trump ended the dangerous policy of “catch-and-release,” which allowed illegal aliens to be released into the United States, often never to be seen again. 
  • Under President Trump, the United States entered a historic partnership with the Mexican government to deploy tens of thousands of Mexican soldiers to secure their side of the border.

AMERICANS ARE WORSE OFF FINANCIALLY UNDER BIDEN

• Under Biden, Americans experienced the worst inflation in four decades, with groceries up 21.2 percent, rent up 21.2 percent, and electricity up 29 percent since Biden took office.
• Bidenflation outpaced wages for a majority of Biden’s presidency – both year-over-year real average hourly earnings and real average weekly earnings were negative for 25 months.
• Soaring home prices combined with high interest rates have created an unaffordable housing market.
  • According to Freddie Mac, the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate has more than doubled since Biden took office, increasing from 2.77 percent to 6.95 percent.
  • Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors Lawrence Yun: “If you don’t make six figures, it’s going to be really tough” to afford a house.
• Rent affordability is the worst on record, with a new high of 22.4 million renter households considered cost-burdened.
• The average car payment, now well over $700 per month for a new vehicle, has reached a record high due to a spike in auto loan interest rates.
  • Following standard budgeting advice to not spend more than 10 percent of monthly income on car-related expenses, Americans would need an income of at least $100,000 to afford a car.
• Total household debt has risen to an all-time high of $17.69 trillion.
  • Credit card debt is at $1.12 trillion, nearly a record high, while a quarter of Americans are putting less money towards paying down their debts.
• Americans suffering under Bidenomics long for the Trump economy once again.
• On President Trump’s last day in office, real GDP was growing at 6.3 percent, inflation was 1.4 percent, and the price of gasoline was $2.39 a gallon. 
• Before the pandemic, President Trump created roughly 7 million new jobs—triple the projections.
  • These new high-paying jobs led to the lowest unemployment rate in nearly 50 years.
  • Unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those without a high school diploma all reached new record lows.
• President Trump’s tax cuts were one of the largest gross tax cuts in American history, cutting over $5.5 trillion in taxes over ten years.
• Trump has a 14-point lead over Biden in who Americans trust to handle the economy and inflation, according to Ipsos.

BIDEN’S TRADE POLICIES HAVE PUT AMERICA LAST

• In October 2021, Biden suspended Trump’s steel and aluminum tariffs on the European Union in exchange for tariff-rate quotas, leading to the importation of cheap goods that threaten U.S. businesses. 
• In February 2022, Biden suspended steel tariffs on Japan – now, Japanese Nippon Steel is poised to take control of America’s second largest steel company, U.S. Steel.
• In June 2022, Biden lifted steel and aluminum tariffs for the United Kingdom.
• Biden has failed to recover jobs in iron and steel mills and ferroalloy manufacturing.
  • There are 7,000 fewer jobs in the American iron and steel industry than there was pre-pandemic.
  • In just the past year under Biden, the industry has lost 4,900 jobs.
• Now, as the election approaches, Biden is reversing course and choosing to use President Trump’s policies, but it’s too little too late.
  • Biden announced he would raise tariffs on Chinese imports only after Trump made this a key issue.
• President Trump successfully negotiated a deal requiring China to purchase an additional $200 billion worth of United States exports.
• Trump invoked Section 232 tariffs that sparked new investments in American steel and aluminum manufacturing totaling nearly $15 billion, resulting in an estimated 4,000 new jobs and the expansion or creation of more than 65 new domestic steel and aluminum projects.
  • President Trump’s tariffs on imported aluminum and steel secured massive wage hikes for over 16,000 American steelworkers.
  • Additionally, steel and aluminum imports drastically decreased under President Trump, falling by a third from 2016 to 2020.

HARDWORKING AMERICANS HAVE PAID FOR BIDEN’S WAR ON AMERICAN ENERGY

• Biden has wreaked havoc on American energy after promising to “eliminate” oil and natural gas.
  • Biden halted oil and gas leases on federal lands, issued sweeping bans on drilling, proposed billions in new taxes on the U.S. fossil fuel industry, and pushed stifling environmental regulations that have raised costs for American consumers.
• Biden has looked everywhere but the U.S. for solutions to high gas prices.
  • Biden would rather import foreign oil from countries like Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, or other OPEC nations instead of turning to states like Texas, Pennsylvania, and North Dakota to ramp up American energy production amid rising energy costs.
• Hardworking Americans are suffering the cost of Biden’s war on American energy.
  • Under Biden, energy prices have soared nearly 30 percent—13 times faster than the previous seven years, and all 50 states have reached new record-high gas prices.
  • Americans have lost over $4,435 paying higher energy costs since Biden took office, and nearly 20 million households have fallen behind on utility bills while costs continue to rise.
• Biden has depleted more than 40 percent of the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), bringing the SPR down to its lowest level in four decades – further jeopardizing American energy independence amid multiple growing crises around the world.
  • In 2020, Democrats blocked the Trump administration from filling the SPR at $24 per barrel, but now Biden sought to fill it at $79 per barrel. 
• Biden rejoined the Paris Climate Agreement, which economists estimate will kill anywhere from 400,000 to 2.7 million jobs, force American households to spend up to 20 percent more for their electricity, and shrink the U.S. economy by $2.5 trillion.
  • President Trump withdrew from the unfair, one-sided Paris Climate Agreement.
• Biden is pushing an unpopular electric vehicle (EV) mandate on the American people that will eliminate thousands of auto manufacturing jobs in the United States.
  • Biden offered billions in taxpayer subsidies for American car manufactures to produce costly EVs, now autoworkers are being laid off because EVs are unpopular and expensive.
  • Meanwhile, China is making a long-term play for the U.S. market, looking to Mexico to skirt tariffs while heavily subsidizing their own EV manufacturers.  
• Biden’s expansive climate restrictions have made life difficult for America’s farmers and ranchers, while his anti-energy policies have helped drive up diesel prices.
  • The Biden administration proposed new regulations that would limit farmers’ ability to utilize certain herbicides and insecticides to protect their crops.
  • The Biden administration has pushed lab-grown meat as part of environmental justice and sustainability efforts to replace “traditional meat products.”

BIDEN’S WEAK LEADERSHIP HAS EMBOLDENED AMERICA’S ADVERSARIES

• Biden’s weak leadership and failed foreign policy has undermined the United States and our allies.
  • Under Biden, Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Taliban control Afghanistan, Iran-backed groups are attacking U.S. troops and allies, Iran can fuel at least three nuclear weapons now, and China is menacing Taiwan.
• Biden’s calamitous Afghanistan withdrawal left hundreds of Americans stranded behind enemy lines for months and resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members.
  • Biden’s horrific Afghanistan withdrawal also sent a signal of weakness to America’s adversaries and earned condemnation from America’s allies.
• Biden’s weakness failed to deter Russia from launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
  • Biden waived sanctions on the CEO and corporation responsible for building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from Russia to Germany, effectively clearing the way for the pipeline to be completed.
  • Biden unconditionally extended the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty allowing Russia to continue building tactical nuclear weapons while restricting the U.S. from modernizing.
• Biden’s disastrous appeasement strategy with Iran has allowed the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism to destabilize the Middle East endangering the United States and our allies.
  • Iran had $4 billion in foreign reserves when Biden took office – now, Iran’s foreign reserves are above $70 billion, freeing them to fund terror across the Middle East.
  • Iran helped plot the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel while Iran-backed militias have attacked U.S. troops in the Middle East at least 170 times. 
  • Biden waived sanctions on Iran’s “civilian” nuclear program – now Iran has amassed a record-high stockpile of near-weapons-grade uranium that could be converted within a matter of days to fuel three nuclear weapons.
• Biden backtracked on his initial support for Israel, caving to progressive anti-Israel and antisemitic “activists.”
  • Biden temporarily paused U.S. military aid for Israel amid a flurry of antisemitic protests on college campuses.
  • Biden said it was “a big mistake” to push for the total elimination of Hamas.
• Under Biden, Islamic terror groups are on the rise threatening American interests and the homeland.
  • Al Qaeda is “actively” using Afghanistan as a safe haven to “plot and plan attacks against American interests and the American homeland” just as when the war first began.
  • Under Biden, terrorism is now spreading throughout West Africa as “groups that have declared allegiance to Al Qaeda and the Islamic State are on the march.”
  • Biden also left billions in U.S. military equipment in Afghanistan, which have since made their way to other conflicts and into the hands of Pakistan-based terrorist organizations. 
• Biden has repeatedly failed to counter China’s abuses and threats to American national security.
  • On Biden’s watch, China has been secretly building military facilities in other countries, increasing its use of cyberattacks, and targeting Taiwan economically.
  • Biden has failed to stand up to China on its human rights abuses, including the Chinese Communist Party’s genocide of the Uyghurs. 
  • Biden failed to confront China on the origins of the coronavirus after promising to “insist” on getting answers.
• When it comes to America’s commitment to Taiwan, Biden has only created confusion.
  • Biden has repeatedly said that the U.S. would send troops to Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion while White House officials have had to continuously correct Biden’s mistake saying the “policy has not changed.”
  • After Biden botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, China saw it as a sign that the U.S. would not defend Taiwan if attacked. 
• For three years, North Korea has completely ghosted the Biden administration on any and all efforts to talk, a fact the Biden administration openly admits.
• Biden has fulfilled his promise to “in large part” roll back the Trump administration’s efforts to hold communist Cuba accountable.
• President Trump will safeguard America and preserve peace through strength.
  • President Trump was the first American leader since Ronald Reagan not to start a war.
  • President Trump revitalized our defense industrial base and created the sixth branch of our Armed Forces: the United States Space Force.
  • In four years, President Trump destroyed ISIS’ territorial caliphate in Iraq and Syria.
  • President Trump will reduce European dependance on Russian natural gas.

MEDICARE PREMIUMS AND LONG-TERM CARE COSTS HAVE SPIKED UNDER BIDEN

• While Biden promises to bring down health care costs, seniors saw the largest ever Medicare Part B premium increase in 2022, jumping 14.5 percent. 
• Seniors are facing rising costs for long-term care thanks to Biden.
  • Assisted Living Locators CEO Angela Olea, RN: “Our senior advisors have seen move-in fees at assisted living facilities jump from $5,000 to $10,000, or monthly rental fees increase by an unprecedented 10%.”
• Despite claiming to oppose Medicare cuts, Joe Biden is actively working to enact cuts to Medicare Advantage, an increasingly popular Medicare option for seniors in America.
  • Over half of Medicare enrollees now enjoy Medicare Advantage plans because they’re provided lower costs, out-of-pocket spending limits, better care, and more benefits.
  • The Biden administration has already cut $4.7 billion in funding for Medicare Advantage, including a 1.12 percent cut to Medicare Advantage plans in 2024.
  • On top of the cuts, the Biden administration has taken several steps already to undermine the success of Medicare Advantage, including eliminating 2,000 diagnosis codes, which resulted in less coverage for seniors enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans than conventional Medicare fee-for-service.
• President Trump expanded health care choice, transparency, and affordability. 
• President Trump signed several executive orders to increase price transparency by requiring hospitals to publish costs for a wide range of procedures, allowing patients to shop among hospitals for the most affordable healthcare.
• President Trump eliminated the Obamacare individual mandate—a financial relief to low- and middle-income households that made up nearly 80 percent of the families who paid the penalty for not wanting to purchase health insurance.
• Trump increased choice for consumers by promoting competition in the individual health insurance market leading to lower premiums for three years in a row.
• Under the Trump administration, more than 90 percent of U.S. counties had multiple options on the individual insurance market to choose from.
  • President Trump offered Association Health Plans, which allow employers to pool together and offer more affordable, quality health coverage to their employees at up to 30 percent lower cost.
• President Trump introduced price caps on insulin copays at $35 for individuals enrolled in Medicare Part D.
  • Biden is now attempting to take credit for lowering insulin costs despite the Trump administration already capping costs at $35.

AMERICANS ARE LESS SAFE UNDER BIDEN

• According to the “nonpartisan” Council on Criminal Justice, crime has surged since 2019, with homicides up 18 percent, gun assault up 32 percent, motor vehicle theft up 105 percent, carjackings up 93 percent, and aggravated assault up 8 percent.
• In most cities, homicide rates remain higher than pre-pandemic levels.
• At the end of 2023, 63 percent of Americans said crime is an “extremely” or “very” serious problem in the U.S., the highest percentage since Gallup started asking the question.
  • 77 percent of Americans believe there is more crime in the U.S. than a year ago.
• Police departments are struggling to combat both a lack of funds and a lack of respect as they try to do their jobs.
  • Democrats are on record repeatedly calling to defund the police and following through by slashing money from police budgets.
  • The Police Executive Research Forum found a nationwide decline of 4.8 percent in police numbers compared to three years ago.
• President Trump will restore law and order and make America safe again.
  • To combat a surge of violent crime in cities, President Trump launched Operation Legend, resulting in more than 6,000 arrests. ·
  • President Trump created the first-ever White House position focused solely on combating human trafficking.
  • During President Trump’s first term, before the pandemic, violent crime had decreased by 3.7 percent and murders fell by 5.7 percent.
• President Trump has already received endorsements from several law enforcement organizations in the 2024 presidential election, including the board of the International Union of Police Associations, the Florida Police Benevolent Association, the Police Officers Association of Michigan.

BIDEN HAS A LONG HISTORY OF OFFENSIVE RACIAL PANDERING

• Biden’s failed policies for Black Americans has come on top of nearly half a century of racist and racially insensitive remarks from Biden.
  • Biden has spent decades lying that he was a part of the Civil Rights movement, falsely claiming he marched and helped desegregate businesses.
  • Biden worked with segregationists in the U.S. Senate to oppose busing to help desegregate schools, saying he did not want his children growing up in a “racial jungle.”
  • During just the 2020 election, Biden declared that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids” and that “you ain’t Black” if you don’t vote for him.
• Biden uses the woke term “Latinx” – which only one in four Latino adults have heard of and only three percent use. 
  • As part of Biden and Democrats’ failed $1.9 trillion “stimulus,” $60,000 was spent on a grant to research “Latinx” history.
• Instead of providing real solutions, all Biden can do is pander and mock Asian Americans. 
  • Biden has used racial tropes to describe Indian Americans, mimicking an Indian accent to describe call centers and claiming “you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”
  • Biden asked Andrew Yang what he would do if he was “emperor” and referred to Singaporean leader Li Kuan Yew as “the wisest man in the Orient.”
• Meanwhile, President Trump is focused on uplifting all Americans. 
• President Trump’s tax cuts created the Opportunity Zones program, which led to $75 billion in new private investment into distressed communities.
  • The majority of opportunity zone residents are minorities, including more than 7 million Black Americans.
  • The new investments led to a rise in home values creating $11 billion in new wealth in minority neighborhoods.
• President Trump signed the landmark First Step Act into law, a major reversal from President Biden’s 1994 crime bill that disproportionately targeted and incarcerated Black Americans.
  • The bipartisan First Step Act was the first landmark criminal justice reform legislation ever passed to reduce recidivism and help former inmates successfully rejoin society.
• President Trump’s pro-growth agenda delivered an economic boom, which drove down unemployment and expanded opportunity for Hispanic Americans.
  • Under President Trump’s leadership, the Hispanic community saw a record low unemployment rate, record high Hispanic homeownership, and record low poverty.
  • Under President Trump, median real income for Hispanic households surpassed $50,000 for the first time in history.
• Asian Americans are increasingly embracing the Republican Party, rejecting complacency and the failed far-left policies pushed by Biden and Democrats. 
  • 34 percent of all Asian American voters now lean or identify with the Republican Party, up from 28 percent in 2018.

BIDEN HAS FAILED TO PUSH BACK ON ANTI-SEMITISM

• Caving to progressive anti-Israel and antisemitic “activists,” Biden has backtracked on his initial support for Israel.
  • Biden said it was “a big mistake” to push for the total elimination of Hamas.
  • Biden paused an ammunition shipment to Israel amid of flurry of antisemitic protests on college campuses.
  • Biden was recently caught saying he would have a “come to Jesus meeting” with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and had previously called Israel’s response to Hamas’ horrific attack “over the top.”
  • The United States failed to veto a UN Security Council Resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire without a demand for Hamas to release the hostages still being held in Gaza.
  • Biden harshly responded to the tragic accidental killing of several aid workers by Israeli forces, while his administration ignores the United States’ own miscalculated military strikes on his watch.
  • Biden has systematically undercut Israel at the UN since day one by rejoining the antisemitic UNHRC, bankrolling UNRWA’s Hamas collaborators, cancelling UN sanctions on Iran, and participating in a moment of silence for President Raisi and demanding that the IDF stand down in Rafah. 
• Meanwhile, President Trump stands with Israel and against anti-Semitism.
  • Under President Trump’s leadership the United States recognized Jerusalem as the true capital of Israel.
  • President Trump brokered four Middle East peace deals, collectively called the Abraham Accords, between Israel and Arab-Muslim nations in four months.
  • President Trump has condemned pro-Hamas protesters chanting genocidal slogans against Jews and proclaimed Israel has “to have a victory” against Hamas. 

DESPITE PROMISES OF UNITY, BIDEN FREQUENTLY TARGETS HIS POLITICAL OPPONENTS

• Biden is destroying America’s system of law and order by weaponizing the government against his political opponent.
• Biden has repeatedly smeared Trump supporters as “MAGA extremists,” labeling half the country as “backwards, full of anger, violence, hate, and division.”
  • In September 2022, Biden said “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very republic.”
  • In September 2023, Biden said that the Trump’s “extreme” agenda will “will fundamentally alter the institutions of American democracy as we know it.”
• More than 45 federal officials and White House staffers have been in regular contact with Silicon Valley tech companies about removing “undesirable” content from their platforms, primarily from conservative sources.
• Biden’s Department of Homeland Security spent $350,000 on a university program that compared conservative organizations, including Fox News and the Heritage Foundation, to extremist Nazi groups.
• Biden failed to appoint an Attorney General who would “enforce the law” and not be a political enforcer; Merrick Garland has effectively operated “as a branch of the Democratic National Committee” by targeting Republican states over redistricting and election integrity laws.
• Biden weaponized the Department of Justice (DOJ) to promote his radical left agenda, with the DOJ backing a memo calling parents domestic terrorists.
• While Biden is wielding the levers of power for his own political ends, President Trump is focused on cleaning out the deep state.
  • On day one, Trump will re-issue his 2020 executive order restoring the president’s authority to fire rogue bureaucrats.
  • President Trump will overhaul federal departments and agencies, fundamentally reform the FISA courts, and make every Inspector General’s office independent from the departments they oversee.
