It’s a well-known fact that Google is the number one search engine not only in the U.S. but also worldwide. And it’s not even close. As of December 2021, Google enjoyed 92% of the global search engine market share, with Bing a distant second at just under 3%.

“Google makes up 76% of all mobile search traffic worldwide and 86% of all search traffic for desktop,” reports Cloudwards. “Note that Google gets more searches from mobile devices than desktop computers.” Furthermore, a Pew Research poll from last year found that 71% of Americans “often” or “sometimes” get their news from search engines. Thus, the vast majority of Americans rely on Google to direct them toward news sources.

But stories of Google’s biased search results — especially regarding political news, such as Google’s autocomplete feature failing to include Donald Trump when “assassination attempt” was queried — are undeniable.

Big Tech, especially Google, has been engaged in this election interference racket since at least 2018. PJ Media’s Paula Bolyard exposed this reality when she found that 96% of Google search results for “Trump” returned articles from Leftmedia news sites.

Bolyard also found that of the first 100 sites Google’s “Trump” search results listed, a total of just five were from conservative news outlets, which were The Wall Street Journal and Fox News. “PJ Media did not appear in the first 100 results, nor did National Review … Breitbart, The Blaze, The Daily Wire, Hot Air, Townhall, Red State, or any other conservative-leaning sites except the two listed above,” she observed.

With returns like that, is it any wonder the causal observer would have a negative rather than neutral or positive view of Trump? Furthermore, if one assumed Google search results were simply providing a list of sites in order of the most trafficked, one would get the impression that most of the public has a negative view of Trump.

It’s not just that Google has been interfering in the election by biasing its search results against Trump; the Big Tech company is also putting its thumb on the scales by promoting Kamala Harris.

When running a Google search for Trump, users are subject to a list of articles favorably featuring Harris. NewsBusters reports, “A Wednesday search for the term ‘trump rally’ prompted news panels favorable to Trump’s opponent. ‘Kamala Harris rally in Atlanta,’ reads the title of the first news panel.” Furthermore, “When MRC researchers searched for the terms ‘kamala harris,’ Google results showed a knowledge panel of her name and the fact that she is the vice president of the United States followed by a news panel labeled ‘Kamala Harris visit to Georgia.’ Trump’s name is not mentioned in either the first or second Google news panels in the resulting search.”

In other words, Google is advocating for Harris and against Trump. Meanwhile, the Leftmedia and “fact-checkers” are gaslighting the public by asserting that claims of Google’s bias are bogus, explaining them away as simply “honest mistakes” or a misunderstanding of the algorithms.

However, what has long been clear to many conservatives is that Big Tech is actively helping Democrats and the Left control the political narrative. Because of its enormity, Google poses the most serious threat. Instead of being a neutral search entity, Google has been engaged in a massive censorship program — because it fears the truth.
