It’s been several weeks since the arrest of entertainment mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs on federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Since then, a floodgate of accusers has opened, and it appears as though the line of possible victims that could have a case against the hip-hop artist is as long as his decades-long career. His future likely holds a long stint in prison.

After Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee took the lead on this case, he invited those targeted by Diddy in any way to come forward with their stories. On October 1, Fox 26 Houston shared details of a press conference held by Buzbee that outlined the magnitude of the workload that awaits him: “Attorney Tony Buzbee says 3,285 people have reached out to him claiming to victims of Sean Combs. Buzbee says after some vetting, he now represents 120 people who will bring individual lawsuits against P Diddy, 60 males, 60 females, including 25 children.”

As Buzbee addressed the reporters in the room, the most shocking revelations involved how young some of the alleged victims were. “The youngest victim at the time of the occurrence was nine years old,” said Buzbee. “We have an individual who was 14 years old.”

Just three days later, Buzbee reported that the victims’ hotline he had set up was “inundated with a staggering 12,000 calls in roughly 24 hours.”

The magnitude of the case against Combs is undeniable, as the activities in question span decades and involve countless people. The key questions are: Who knew what, and when did they know it? Who else was involved? Why did no one speak up?

As more information comes out, it is reasonable to assume that there are other big names from the entertainment industry who should be more than just a little bit nervous. A Page Six article says as much, suggesting that many in Hollywood’s tightest circles are involved: “Some of America’s biggest music executives are said to be panicking as a top attorney has warned that high-profile accomplices of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will be named in a new wave of accuser suits — and ‘the names will shock you.’”

Continuing in this theme of disturbing reports, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, attorney for at least one of Diddy’s accusers, discussed in a September 27 interview a video that had been leaked in Hollywood, involving someone “more high-profile” than Sean Combs, that is now being “shopped around.” Said Mitchell-Kidd of the individual in question: “This was in his Atlanta home, and it does seem like the person isn’t looking into the video. To me, it doesn’t seem like that person knows they’re being videotaped.”

Since that time, Mitchell-Kidd says she’s been made aware of the possible existence of at least three more such tapes involving other “A-list celebrities.”

It’s understandable that many among the glitterati would be on edge because many would at least have known of others who were involved or had some knowledge of what was going on behind closed doors.

Long-time talk-show host Wendy Williams is one of the few who has openly spoken out in favor of Diddy’s arrest, claiming that he tried to ruin her career after she brought attention to the horrifying 2016 video of Combs’s brutal attack against his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

Other than Williams, though, the elite have largely remained tight-lipped about what they know. Instead, they have chosen to use their wealth and power to weigh in on the 2024 election — as if the unwashed masses are waiting breathlessly for their guidance.

This investigation illustrates that wealth can’t buy decency and that the entertainment industry is generally reprehensible. It’s a community that deserves neither our respect nor our support.
