Re: There Was No ‘Terrorist Attack’ in Las Vegas
“This should be a wake-up call for all politicians to help these men and women who have experienced horrific things so we don’t lose any more of them to PTSD.” —Illinois
Re Biden’s Last-Minute Awards Extravaganza
“If you ever had even a shadow of a doubt about Biden’s mental incapacity, this should put that to rest.” —Arizona
“The 25th Amendment is obviously a farce. No administration deserved its invocation more than Biden’s.” —Louisiana
Re: The Biggest Biden/Harris Lie
“Until every evil socialist who has been elected over the last four years is ejected from office, many states will remain banana republics. ” —Colorado
“This was an outstanding summary and send-off on the Biden and Harris regime. Hope the door hits all of them in the butt on their way out!” —New York
Re: The Normalization of Assisted Suicide
“I am mortified that killing, whether asked for or not, is considered an option. Calling it ‘healthcare’ is a lie. As a recovering addict who has seen many go the way of an overdose rather than face reality, this road will be a huge problem. If you give those who feel there is no hope in their life an out like assisting their suicide, then so many young people will go this way who could have been helped and become productive members of society. This cannot be a solution to mental health; our society is better than this. I am praying that the evil from which this idea comes is killed. I am reminded that the devil was the most beautiful angel, and a lot of evil sounds good at some point, but assisted suicide is evil times a hundred.” —Wisconsin
“I, for one, will never allow anyone to kill me for the sake of expediency. The premature act of killing or allowing yourself to be killed is the depth of stupidity. Eternity is much longer than anything we will experience here on earth. You can still be a productive person, even though you are in severe pain and turmoil, by trusting God and His ability to take care of you. Every moment is precious and to be savored until it is truly the time to go home to the Lord.” —Oregon
“In 2019, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (currently stage one). There is a five-year survival once diagnosed, but I have passed by that time frame. As a Christian, I would never consider suicide. He alone determines. I am 83 now, and He has brought me through life. I know He will continue to be at my side.” —Oregon
“I will first state that I am against assisted death. However, the argument against it is fairly weak. Calling the practice warped and twisted does nothing to argue against it. Some people way want to opt out of life, but granting that wish shouldn’t be made easy and affordable. Death is an unknown. To approach it willfully and happily is unnatural and delusional. Choosing death over life will never be rational or sane. This is the reason assisted death should be considered another form of murder.” —Kansas
“Social Security is not an entitlement. It is the money that has been taken, involuntarily, out of our paychecks for our use after retirement. Currently, it takes 15 years of receiving benefits for a person to recoup the money we paid in. Stop giving it to unwed mothers every time they have another baby. Only people who have paid into it should receive it.” —Tennessee
“My wife worked in the federal court system as a secretary to a federal district judge for 30 years. She retired and receives a modest pension. I too have a pension, and it’s somewhat bigger, as I put in 30 years as a State of Wisconsin employee. I also get Social Security. Together, we are on easy street. She worked and paid into Social Security but not enough quarters to qualify for retirement. We are paying for a Medicare Advantage plan. It’s a family plan, but since she has no Social Security, she must pay Medicare $400 a month to get the health coverage. Biden adding federal employees to Medicare/Social Security will quickly deplete that fund and add more federal debt, which is already $32 trillion. Not good.” —Wisconsin
“Understandably, people who retired with a government pension but did not pay into Social Security should not be paid SS. However, I started my 30-year career with the Post Office in 1975, and prior to that time with the USPS, I worked under the Social Security retirement system. Why does the government STILL take 45% or more of my Social Security check? They have done this since I reached my retirement age of 66 in 2010. The work I performed before working at the USPS had nothing to do with the Post Office retirement system. I’m not the only person in this situation for whom the Social Security Fairness Act will make sense.” —Montana
Re: Biden’s Surgeon General Plays Daddy
“Ignoring for the moment the simple absurdity of this idea, I can imagine that it would do about as much good as the warning label they put on cigarettes 60 years ago. Also, speaking as a cancer patient who never smoke or drank, I can tell you warning labels are not going to change anything. There’s undoubtedly already a cure for cancer sitting in a safe in some lab, but considering how much money the medical profession et al. make while endlessly ‘treating’ patients, that’s where it’s going to stay forever.” —Pennsylvania
“The most disgusting thing about the California situation is how ignorant people actually are about the whole thing. Climate change did not force California to take millions of gallons of water from the mountains every year and let it flow into the sea unused. Ignorance did — like destroying reservoirs to save a fish that can’t even be eaten. Climate change did not force California to spend $23 million on homelessness and zero dollars on water conservation or fire mitigation. Ignorance did.” —Colorado
Re: Christ on the Move in Hollywood
“It gives me great hope for our country when those who chose to speak out for God do just that. The best thing I ever did in my life was to really learn about the God of my childhood and truly come to believe. I pray more people turn from their wicked ways and embrace a true belief in God and Christianity. What an incredible moral change that would bring to our country.” —Wisconsin
Re: Dems’ DEI and Climate Cults Make California Uninsurable
“The thing that always fascinates me about the Democrats is the insistence that capitalism is at fault. Insurance is a wager on whether a disaster will happen or not. Whether you are talking auto or life or home insurance, we get coverage in order to help mitigate whatever we are concerned about. We hope nothing will happen, but what if? What the home insurance companies have been trying to tell California is that disasters which destroy homes are not an if but a when situation. When commonsense forest management was abandoned for climate nonsense, the problem grew and continues to grow. The fires this year could mean no more insurance companies will be willing to operate in California. God only knows.” —Wisconsin
“When I received my home insurance bill in December, the rate had gone up over $300 from last year. The premium has gone up from $780 in 2021 to $1,443 in 2025. When I spoke to our insurance agent with whom we have been doing business for over 30 years, he stated almost verbatim Mr. Jackson’s reasons that premiums are going up and companies are leaving California. He also warned me that it was going to get much worse with a shrinking insurable base and more red tape and mandates from Sacramento. A clarification: The state may take monies from insurance companies for the FAIR plan, but it is the California rate payers who foot the bill. Another hidden tax.” —California
Re: Profiles of Valor: Korean War Vets Orig, Nakamura, McGee, and Johnson
“Thank you, Patriot Post, for these weekly Profiles of Valor. As a Veteran combat fighter pilot, I think this is the best part of what you provide, and a very important reminder that freedom is NOT free.” —Alaska
